I am trying to figure out what this actually serves. 
Because, almost every project in the entertainment industry that had a woke narrative or a faux-activism agenda did not make any sales or produce any *real* popularity aside from a bunch of tumblrettes and twitter twatters on social media. 
But, many of these types of people that *slipped* into the industry (often as charity cases) still insist of pushing this approach. 
For example, there is a new Cowboy Bepop adaptation on Netflix. Obviously, Netflix is going to butcher the source material (in fact, you have to question if they even read the source material at all). They are changing the context of a specific character who was subject to a accident that lead to horrible genetic changes to his own body, causing him to have anatomy similar to that of a woman. However, Netflix is altering the context behind this in order to show a binary character instead. Insult to injury, nothing about the plot or cast looks promising in the slightest. All of this was to be an expectation at this point. 
 
Even while people are actively calling out Netflix for butchering the source material of anime (and, by extension, games), the staff *still* insist on going on along with this project. 
 
Capcom taking this kind of approach with Cammy alongside the Blair costume is jarring. It is a Japanese company. It is not like the HQ switched over to the Western side like how Sony did with their organization. 

To matters even worse is the fact that Cammy's Blair costume is "censored..."

On a smaller note, the very reason I continue using these AV is to trigger these... virtue signaling types. 

Is kind of idiotic how capcom censored the costume when Cammy is usually showing way more skin.
Like common capcom, wtf?
 
It kind of gives credence to the leak, that they will start going the go woke go broke route.

This is exactly the point that needs to be caved into some of these developers and quite a few other companies in the entertainment industry as a whole: 
Some pansies on twitter *do not* represent the entire costumer base. 
 
Most of the people that make these sorry ass complaints or nontroversies are either too literal-minded, too young, or too stupid to understand the business and how marketing is meant to operate in the entertainment. 

The problem is that idiots at PR and marketing departments keep using agregates from social media to do their foundation for market research.
So, they always end it a heavy biased and not representative subsect of the market population and keep making the same mistakes over and over.
 
Then add that many of those idiots believe in the shit they see on social media themselves, so they perpetuate the whole cycle of leading the enterteinment industies into the trash.
 
One of the 1st rules when doing statistics is to try to work with samples that cover diferent basis so you dont end with biased povs.
But you cant really expect people working on corporations where they perpetuate this idea of the consumer not knowing what they want, and also perpetuating a sheep mentality to think for themselves.
 
Specially when is easier to get data from social media than actually do your work and make the market research the correct way.

This is my take as well. He's a solid character riding extra high because he also has the best move in the game (axe kick).
 
If that gets normalized, he will still be good but perfectly reasonable.

When will businesses finally realize that Twitter isn't the consumer base? I mean how many more companies have to lose money? Cowtowing to people that don't buy your products and pissing off people that do, is a recipe for failure.

Seth is good, and definitely top tier. However, I think he is being high balled a bit. The only thing he does that needs to be toned down is axe kick imo, but people talk about Seth like every facet of the character needs a nerf. 
 
Id say its like 50/50 he gets wrecked in winter balance patch.
