Sorry man kinda gorked today after a week of not sleep. Had the game installed since this afternoon but never thought to put the shout out.
 
Next time you are ready to bash some heads I'm set up and ready to go. Hopefully by then I'll have caught up on sleep.

I'm pretty sure GBVS also had a 3 game thing before you could generally go online, though I think their games were against actual people. I never even did that so if they magicked rollback or something into that game tomorrow I'd still have lag time on getting online. 🙂
 
Seems like a thing now, which I can kinda get. Try to curate that very first online experience (or semi-simulate it in MK11) to lessen the odds of someone's first game being a complete shitshow. Of course once you get out of the kiddie pool you get to deal with D4rkL0rd420 and his full screen teleport punches followed by teabagging and RQ'ing if you get ahead.
 
The SFV experience should just be 3 matches against CPU that error out right before you are about to win.

Alright, River City girls is sick as hell. 
 
Started off kind of weak for me. The move list felt super limiting and mashing on the first few dudes didn't feel too great. Then I unlocked my first move and instantly understood what this is... 
 
Game just keeps getting better and better the more I play. I kind of need a show just about these two girls because they are endless comedy gold. The whole game has a lot of charm and a great sense of humor, really. 
 
I mean Kyoko can straight up dab you to death.

I really love the simple arcade style brilliance of SOR4, but man, this game brings something really cool to the table with the more unique aspects like learning new moves and moving about an open map. 
 
I'm gonna have to try the multiplayer at some point because the tag team goodness in this game seems way too hype.

I'm really surprised by this OST. Lots of Synth/Darksynth stuff that I didn't expect at all. Has a ton of range even though it mostly stays within Electronica. 👍

 This doesn't mean you aren't really good at the game - you are (and so are the same players who are constantly placing well in tournaments); the game is just volatile as fuck.

It is incredibly wack that you have to do the three-match online tutorial if you’ve already played online. Is is very much geared towards kombat league, but you also have to do this before playing friends, so keep this in mind if you’re trying to hop on against someone.
 
speaking of which, I should be down for matches tomorrow night/weekend if anyone’s around.
 
also, i gotta say, labbing Mileena has been the most fun I've had since launch. The custom variations help, but she has everything i could ask for. First time I’ve felt like I’ve played a complete character in this game, and her mixups are dirty af

What made Capcom actually amazing were all the new ideas they came up with. All of their best eras were when they were innovating. The idea of another round of sequels and remakes is.....fine but doesn't really light a fire under me.
 
I don't want a new Power Stone. What I really want is another idea that hits like Power Stone did back in the day. But that has too much risk; better get started on the RE2R:Remake.

I think I actually bought it on Switch? Would need to double check, it has been so long. I have one on PS4 and one on Switch. I think RCGs is on PS4.

If you could see the whiteboards at any place you'd probably see ideas/pitches/prototypes/slices for everything your heart desires. That is part and parcel of keeping the work flow going.
 
After many years of watching video games news, I'm at the point of "tell me when I can buy it, thanks". Bonus points if it is actually good. A new entry/revival doesn't do anyone any good if it is shitty. 🙂 (Though in Capcom's case at least they did right by RE2/RE3).

I have gray in beard now and my head is shaved. I'm not dying my beard, so that ship has sailed. At least my weight is down to my age 24 level. Not as buff though 😑
 
Edit: Also I'm soon to be 41. 36 is half decade back for me fam.

RCGs was fun. I'm with Tubb that SoR4 was the beat 'em up I probably enjoyed more but it was a close race.
