FFXIV gets removed from the Taiwanese Steam store as a result. Don't ask me why, Taiwan is clearly not china and our store is not the chinese store, is the Taiwanese store, even tho you cannot then pick Taiwan as a goddamn country when Steam asks you to chose your country of residence from a drop down menu.

This means that to buy expansions I need to change my store.
In the past that was easy, log in with a VPN or have a friend from Italy log my account, go to change store location, they see the log in in Italy, they let you pick Italy.
Not anymore.
Now you try and change store country and they tell you to contact them.
It can fuck you up bad.
After failing miserably at buying the new expansion through a steam key I hatched a plan of bullshitting my way into having them change my store country while covering my ass.
I contact and start my lie.
They answer me with a pre-made text that answers literally none of the question I asked in my elaborate lie.
But they do send me a link to a steam page that explains an even newer way to change store country.
Just buy something from that store they say.
