I forgot if I mentioned or not but I recently made the upgrade to the OLED Switch, finally.  Fortunately the transfer process is pretty simple; I looked up a youtube vid and went with that.  However... unfortunately I lost all my Mii characters though!  Good thing is that I vaguely remember most of them and have pictures for reference at least.  Now that makes me wonder what happens in Smash Ultimate and Mario Kart then, since some of mine were in the save as characters for those games.  It's simple enough to recreate them though... I just didn't expect the miis would be erased.  I think the only one I have at the moment is the one that's used for my profile icon.
 
Strange thing--- I kept reading that your snapshots and vids don't transfer over....BUT for some reason I still have them on the new system now, so I'm not sure how that happened. (*ah, maybe because they were saved on the microSD instead of the internal memory, I'm assuming?)  

this Shout Factory TV streaming channel is awesome... right now they're doing a Farscape marathon.  That's a show that should've been right up my alley back then but I just never got around to watching it.  The bonus is the cute girls on there... that pale grey-skinned one was hot, and it also featured Claudia Black, who would later go on to be "Dahlia" in The Originals, and be the voice of Sam in the Gears of War series...along with tons of other voice-work (one of the sexiest voices I've ever heard, and she looks nice too) and other movies/shows.  It looks like this marathon will go on for at least the rest of this morning... a bit frustrating since I'd like to do some other things at the moment, like more Diablo 3 and youtube channel-surfing.
 
...I didn't realize until now this show was made by the Jim Henson company.  
ShoutFactory also shows a lot of the super-sentai shows and Mystery Science Theater 3000....so this channel has become a regular thing whenever I have the smart tv on outside the context of playing games.
 
oh yeah, and as part of the Mikaelson family, Dahlia was of course a top-tier, 1 of the most dangerous characters in The Originals:

Agree, and I will say the same if Nintendo or Sony were trying to do something similar with ActiBlizz, EA, Ubi, Take2.
Now if the same entities came to do the same with Disney it will be great.

ha, that fight was a good one.. y'know, that reminds me that the strange thing about my school is that despite it being shit-ass Memphis and thus overrun with hoodrats and "thug life" wannabes... it was actually rare that I saw a fight in person.  It was just a few I saw over those 4 years in high school and that's it.... and a couple in junior high and elementary school.  Junior high was indeed filled with the most trash though; I hated my peers in there the most....a school full of "Deebo, Big Worm and Doughboy" types.  If you happen to glance in their general direction for 0.2 seconds then it's a "problem" that immediately blows up into a certain "Moment" that the Boondocks show infamously described.

There's this whole subgenre of AI generated art where the AI makes some kind of big fuckup in interpreting what a human is supposed to look like, and it leads to what I like to call "biblically accurate women".
 
The other one I really like is the one where there's this torso with huge tits, but where the neck should be starts a second smaller torso (also with big, but relatively smaller tits) and this one actually has a head, but I can't find it right now.

You are still giving up most of your information and identifiers. Want to know a great way to obscure your information? Use a fresh system, install Arch Linux, configure a Virtual Machine, configure a Virtual Machine inside your Virtual Machine, use pseudonyms throughout, use cookie blockers, manually block all cookies, throw in a hypervisor config at some point and then you can start browsing. And even then, your interactions with the website will be logged, and while the data is not an accurate representation of you, it is still recording what happens. The only way to get even more secure is to renounce your marriage and go celibate since this is a truly bitchless endeavour anyway.
 
The reality is, even if Elon's phone truly didn't collect data for him, you'd still be giving your data up somehow because it is simply not cost effective or user-friendly enough to make a phone that uses hardware to make it as heavy as industry wireless landlines from before they stopped coloring Batman's cowl blue.

Have had more time to play Gunvolt 2 the last couple days. Anime drek aside, this is a stellar 2d action game. Copen is extremely fun to use one you get a feel for his mechanics. Anyone tried GV3 yet?

yeah, I knew of a "Chastity"(spelled differently of course) and she was about as loose and easy as one can expect of a typical hoodrat stereotype.  She was pregnant before high school... I think it was 8th grade, actually.  She was also one of those sad cases that peaked early in life in terms of looks.  She was already over the hill with declining looks by 10th or 11th grade....I'm sure that the fact of having a kid already doesn't help matters there; typically the teen moms start to look "old" super-fast in life.... a real shame there.  She wasn't as severe a case as this other girl I'll abbreviate as "N" though (*her name is incredibly "unique" as per usual with hoodrats)... she also had a kid before high school.  By 11th and 12th grade, she already had that "middle aged mom" look going on.  She was actually better looking than "Chastity", I thought... kinda like a mini-version of Vanessa Williams but with a short hairstyle.
 
...some more Debbie Downer shit while I reminisce on old times--- the older students when I was in junior high going to high school looked so much better than my generation when we got to be the "upper class" students... it was quite noticeable to me, at least.  The seniors when I was in 8th and 9th grade actually looked like adults already...those girls were HOT....girls walking around looking like Halle Berry, Nicole Ari Parker, Toni Braxton... or the girls from "A Different World", etc.  My school even had a bit of a reputation for having some of the finest girls... but I guess it was on a downward trend, with each new class not looking as good as the previous one.  With my class as the seniors----the % of girls that looked good was way down; it was a tragedy what happened there.... good thing college/university would truly be "A Different World" though... the women on campus there were on a new level and it was insane.

The moment they announced that one character was gay before anything else about the movie makes me certain that its flop will be blamed on it.

And due the movie having a lot of moments related to him being gay, they can't cut off those parts for countries where they can't show this, like they have done with all their other movies so far, so they can't count with those places to inflate the box office.
