Seriously though, while the pacing this season was pretty flubbed, the payoff was really well done.

my wife began in Jan 2019 and caught up by August (which was entering Wano at the time) and her viewing was 2-3 episodes a day so it's very doable...heck past the time skip you could watch every other episode (since the recaps begin to stretch things a lot) and catch up very easily. 

I honestly get flack for this take... but skip around. Not every episode is needed and you can read summaries or watch recaps going over stuff. If you feel compelled to watch more do so. Between Crunchyroll, Netflix and even the free 24 hour One Piece (sub) channel on Pluto TV, you got options.

Im flabbergasted by how retarded popular One Piece has become due to the live action show. I was dead sure it was gonna bomb miserably and now Im pleasantly suprised about how its taken over. Its like the #1 on Netflix, outdoing everything.
