Also, the fuck were the tournament organizers of Big House thinking that they would try using Slippi and Melee ISOs for the online event? I guess it's not quite understandable to the TOs that Nintendo protects their IPs on a massive scale, with only Disney doing more protecting than them. I fully understand that the hashtags exist because of this, but if the people using and posting these hashtags didn't think for a goddamn second that Nintendo wasn't going to do something like this (first hitting the organizers of The Big House with a C&D, then revoking the live stream for the Splatoon 2 finals in response to the team names) , then I've got a Virtual Boy I'd love to sell these fools.

Went ahead and used the rest of my eShop credit I got this morning for the remaining games I wanted. Picked up Rune Factory 4, Shiren the Wanderer, Hollow Knight, and Hades. I think I may be set for a while until Christmas.

Woke up this morning, and saw that my eShop order went through that I had placed last night. Immediately bought Age of Calamity, and have $137 left. Planning on not using that until after the holidays are over, which will give me time to sort through the remaining games I want (and potentially ask for a lot more from the missus after the bonus hits).

Right before the other site blew the fuck up and I migrated away, I bought a 360 VLX. Yesterday it arrived in the mail!


Highlights:

The box was neatly packaged. All of the stuff came with it!
The stick works (tested in joy.cpl and in SFV)

I'd love to gut the stick and put a UFB in it, but I cannot bring myself to do that to such nice a stick. I may get one of the new Brook converters after the holidays for 360 to PS4 use and hope for offline events to come back next year.
 

The first movie is more than enough, although I believe it is the 4th movie that gave us Samuel L Jackson in all of his badassery.

got my shipping notification earlier for my Game and Watch. It'll be here in the morning. 

Also, had a issue with my Gamefly delivery earlier in the week. It was delivered I want to say 2-3 days ago, went and picked it up out of our locked mailbox here in the community; and I swear on Mario the box was opened and someone fucking jacked my copy of Streets of Rage. Was absolutely fucking livid over it, but Gamefly was quick to resolve. Can't say that about the postal service though ... that is the second theft we've had since I moved back last year after the VA gig. The first was my Satisfye grip from last year, now this. I'm very close to start having all of my packages delivered to a PO Box again.
