I’d say like 50% of the damage I’ve ever dealt in this game with Nash comes from people reacting poorly to fireballs for no reason like in this clip. All he had to do was block it and Gill only gets a few cute plus frames he probably won’t capitalize on.

This would be a dream for me. I want it, even if it's a somewhat smaller roster than SF, to just go for broke and have fun again. Go nuts, go stylish, have some of the ASW flair and give us a new DS. I love SF, but another option is just nice.  I'm not a great player, but I love fighters, my sister and I played so much DS on the Saturn and have a blast, it was just so different from Alpha aesthetically and mechanically. I think DS and SF can survive without each other's audience.
 
 
 
Yeah, no kidding, sometimes I go back and look at all the Cacom ips and they really could bring a bunch of stuff back, they could have their own Capcom version of smash with the sheer number of characters they have. It's a shame so many are dormant.

Yeah, I've been thinking this as well.  Darkstalkers would attract SF as well as ASW fans.  As much as I want to see a CvS3 I know that niche has already been filled with new SF and KOF games coming out every 4-5 years.  If Capcom/ASW made a new DS they could make it balls to the wall entertaining instead of focusing on 'e-sports'.  A game to go alongside SF like Marvel did for so long.

I also been spending time learning better renders and poses in Blender and ofc used those skills to do some stuff with Juri.To achieve proper light and shadow can be really tough but i looked quite a lot into scene creation and hdri renders. I think it's starting to pay off. I am happy with my progress so far.

Speaking of great personalities.  I really wish Aris was into SFV.  Or more 2D games in general.  The stuff he did for the Tekken 7 community was amazing.  
 
 

Not sure I posted this here, but a lot of good stuff has randomly started happening recently and this is coming out of a long period of pretty low points in my life. I expect it to go back to the way it was, but no point in wallowing during the good times, so I'll share it here too in the most obnoxious way possible. The meta is built around having strong offensive options from up close and being able to loop pressure against an enemy on okizeme (SFIV shared this same concept to a degree, but the neutral worked differently in that game). 
 
And, the thing is, this is exactly what Seth is known for, aside from having the viable normals and special moves to back himself up with. I was debating on playing her at the moment. Seth can really do a lot of things at once, it seems. In a manner of speaking, it is the same as administrating game play with Iori Yagami in KOF98: 
 
What that is like is having very strong normals (good hit confirms off of crouching lights into his command moves, 6AA / 6 LP, LP, standing D, beefy jCD and the like). 
A projectile that is +2 on block (his Yami Barai), a high-functional dragon punch with invincibility on both versions, rekkas that lead into an easy ass hard knockdown scenario into okizeme or for just gaining better positioning, legit empty jump low/throw mix ups with his command grab to boot, his command grab having a bit invincibility... 
 
Whilst in comparison, Seth is that kind of beast. The same might be said for Gouki, even with his status as a glass cannon taken into consideration. 
 
I want to say that this is a decent analogy. 

My 2 cents - Seth is the 2nd best character in the game after Akuma.  Punk just made a tier list and placed Seth 4th after Akuma, Urien and Rashid.  Either way he/she is easily one of the best characters in the game.

You're right, it would not create hype. I think they should release a doll, but for free as a bonus character only. I actually think Noembelu with her tomahawks or Xiayu with her nunchakus could be pretty cool.

No you need help. You are the fighting game version of Zatacon. He's far too concerned about what other people do what their dicks. You're far too concerned about what other people do with their arcade sticks.

Lucia feels like she belongs in a different game but that's the reason I think she's well designed.  Despite being weak, she's a hell of a lot of fun and doesn't feel like the run-of-the mill SFV character.
