Outside of Neutral drive rush eating inputs, and maybe canceling into drive rush costing three bars instead of two, there doesn't feel like a lot is actually out of place with the system.

Making the neutral drive rush function to not completely screw over someone's input would be cool. If Capcom views that as a nerf > functionality, then I guess we know where the system stands lol

  2. The system is in a pretty decent spot right now. I basically only ever see perfect parry either on wakeup from a knockdown or in the middle of strings. I think it would be sick for everyone to be a boss mode character and then nerf the system so that you don't have characters like JP that thrive in it.

    Nope.

But lemme tell you how much SRK was not the problem with how fucking flamingly dumb the people in the FGC are.  I brought up how numbers went down on bad updates to SF4 and SF5 and his reply was "sure thing boss".

    🤦‍♂️

Where are you talking with these people? I just wanna see something. 👀

I broke 1 tab on like 6/9 of the 24mm ones that I got, but they still seem to be working just fine.  One of the tabs completely broke off and the rest are like broke but still attached.  The solid black buttons I got seemed to be stiffer so it's just the weaker metallic buttons I guess.

Are those the snap in buttons? I hate those because I break them all the time lol

got told the wildest shit today. Apparently saying that people stop playing a game when the patch take the game in a direction they don't like is a scrubby reason for saying people stopped playing.

Are these league of legends players or something? If so, this is why we need offline tournaments to survive because I can't surround myself with people who are that chronically online and/or stupid...

Wth man, so I have a question, against any jp they just keep command grabbing my ass, but I've noticed on events and replays of pro/top players that those jp's don't even do the command grab on their opponents because im

guessing it's risky? But how the hell can all

those opponents differentiate between a regular projectile and the command grab? Like there's cues but by the time you hear them and try to react it's too late! I know I'm missing something since all throughout Capcom cup I don't think I saw a jp player use that move.

The command grab is about 10 frames slower than any of the fireballs. You can use audio queues and visual queues of where the ghosts are actually located.

When the game first came out, I made the dummy in training mode vary between mid fireball and command grab since they look kind of similar. If you can train yourself to look out for that mid hitting fireball and know when you should be blocking it, it makes dealing with the command grab easier.

When JP is at point blank range, it becomes trickier and I need to rely more on audio at that point to react properly.

Tldr: The command grab is slower than the fireball, keep that in mind.

TLDR; Trashy is trying to steal $3500 from dude you've known for over 20 years. Not being exposed for it. Publicly exposing scammers, makes it harder for them to rip off others.

My question then is this. Are we really better off knowing this information?

Hard disagree. Nothing corny about it. You do dirt like that, you should be exposed. I mean if you are going to do that your friends what will you do to others.

Idk I think it's just trashy to go online and talk about how you're going to take someone to civil court over a computer. If it came from a position to warn others, then that makes sense to me. I wasn't really getting that impression based on this from a secondhand perspective.

For real.  Wasn't this done and dusted already?

I thought so too. I get where Dieminion is coming from but it also makes me think of that whitetrash couple that needs to air out all of their business on Facebook.

I choose ignorance at this point. 😃

I have not, other than the springs in the switches, unless the Happ buttons in my arcade machines have springs, which they probably do lol.

For home sticks I've only ever used Sanwa until I tried these mechanical ones recently.

I'm using long stem buttons so I suppose I need to make a change to short stem for a more resitant spring to even make sense. I'm pretty sure IL buttons still use a spring (the og Happ button manufacturer) but they don't seem that hard to press since they are the long stem versions.

Not sure exactly how heavy of a spring are in those buttons. Maybe I will inquire.

Gotcha.  Yeah I was kind of surprised there was no like spec sheet with those details from Sanwa officially when I was googling.  That seems like something that would be front and center.  But I guess it doesn't matter since they have no variations.

I ordered my stuff over the weekend so hopefully by the end of the week I get it all.  I had to order from 2 sites because none of them had everything in stock that I needed.

The best Alpha 3 player in Japan tried these Seimitsu buttons that are SPRING LOADED and said they are very tiring to use. I want to try a spring in the IL buttons I'm using. They do sell the springs separately on focusattack. https://focusattack.com/seimitsu-ps-button-spring-mm9-3-0-25n-ps-14-dx-k-ps-15/

You can also add the tension spring to an order of buttons themselves. https://focusattack.com/seimitsu-ps-14-k-30mm-snap-in-pushbutton-green/

Have you tried any buttons with springs?
