I remember seeing Andre at Youmacon in Detroit shortly after he pleaded guilty to credit card fraud. Everyone kind of couldn't believe he would show up but then I made the realization that we were in the presence of someone who doesn't give a fuck what people think about him. He doesn't have remorse. There are no second chances because I don't think he understands the gravity of his actions and simply doesn't care.
How can you trust someone like that? I don't think you can. It's unsettling.

I believe the Sanwa are like 45g equivalent from what I saw when searching. The force can vary big time on the Samducksa based on which switch you have in there.
My bad, operating force*
Depends on the model but I've seen some charts ranging from 45g to 55g

Also FWIW, Sanwa's are apparently like .8mm actuation and around 2.5mm bottom or so.
I think sanwas officially require more actuation force than those samducksa/crown buttons but that value can deviate sometimes. Kind of one of the issues with them.

I got them from here:
https://novelkeys.com/products/kailh-switches?variant=40598672474279
If you were near me I'd just give you some to play around with I got 36 in the pack and only need like 1/3 of them. Probably wouldn't be worth it to ship some to you though.
This is the comparison between the Kaihl navy and the Cherry Blue.
Yeah that actuation is actually crazy. I only ask where you got them because I was looking online and it was mainly ebay sellers.
This site isn't all that expensive so I'll order some of my own at some point. Definitely not worth the hassle of mailing anything across the country. I appreciate your generosity regardless haha.

So far I like the navy's better. They have shorter actuation and require a little more force than the blues.
Where did you get the navy blue switches?

Anyone here use clicky mechanical switches in their arcade sticks? I'm curious to hear opinions on them.
When I was still using Crown/Samducksa SDB-202 buttons, I had Cherry Blue switches that I really liked. They are loud af but they were a great feel. These days I'm using iL buttons which use ZF D44x switches (I believe they used to be manufactured under the Cherry name.)
I only stopped using those buttons and switches because I was playing more marvel again around that time and I didn't like the actual plungers for wavedashing and hitting the buttons hard and fast.

These days, because its a mini industry, a lot of cosplay is just people buying costumes online.
I blame Jessica Nigri lolol
But on a serious note, I don't pretend to know anything about cosplay but I do know that some cosplayers straight up expect to be paid to show up to cons. I don't know about fighting game tournaments yet but it seems wild to me to ask money from organizers to show up in a costume.

I knew cosplay competitions were a sham when I watched one once and the guy who made a fully functioning Ironman suit got 3rd. I wish I could remember where it was but that hurt my soul seeing that.

Man did these guys fuck up. You could have if you really wanted to, moved to a more conservative neighborhood in your country OR...even moved to the US and gone to WV, Alabama, Mississippi..etc...you uprooted your whole damn family to RUSSIA. Good luck trying to get back out...that sucks a duck for this fam.
They could have moved to Alberta and found others that fit right in with their beliefs. Something seems off about this whole ordeal unless they are really that stupid.

(which also doesn't make sense, because sometimes they DO react to DI with DI.)
There were a few matches I saw a counter-DI happen and the person who countered either ended up in a burnout situation or lost the game entirely. EndingWalker did it in one match (I want to say against MenaRD, but I can't remember exactly) and he ended up losing the round because of it.
Idk how far you are in your sf6 journey, but I think if you're able to react to DI consistently with any option, you are doing pretty damn good.

Parrying uses less drive meter than using a drive impact back. I think this was a key part of why UMA ended up winning Capcom Cup because you are really gimped when you even start to run low on drive meter. We are talking about 0.5 meter but that can make a difference on the highest level.

The secret tech is to watch the Japanese stream. You can't understand what they are saying and they have commentators dressed as SF characters 😃

I always block people who play only 1 game on ranked. I might not be entitled to a full 2 out of 3 set, but I also have the power to not waste my time playing people who don't want to play the whole set.

This is pretty much ass for the spectators because online tournaments aren't at all fun to watch. And then we end up with situations like this where nobody even knows half the players in Capcom Cup this year and they're playing for the biggest prize ever. Shit just seems whack to me.
If Street Fighter 6 came out during (in my opinion) the golden age of fighting game majors, that would be the sickest thing ever. Between 2009-2019 era.
The only thing that keeps me engaged with the online tournaments is the points betting LOL

1000% agree. Met too many people in different communities (music and fighting games in particular) who fit into that box of bordering on sociopath. If shaming people who are definitively guilty of something is grandstanding, then so be it. Not everyone is going to like what you say and some people will defend shitty people on the basis of ideology rather than practicality. They can get bent lol.
