Just finished watching Loki ep2. Show seems to setup the next phase with the multiverse stuff. Wanda Loki and Strange next will finish introducing the whole multiverse thing right into Spiderman. Kinda neat. Owen Wilson is such an underrated actor. I loved him as Hansel and Dupree but he can do semi serious roles too
 
Also, Emilia Clarke getting a MCU character? Yum, yes please

Speaking of next gen, I wonder if Nintendo still plans to do on the go gaming a priority. Aftwr both Sony and MS released two different versions of their console, maybe they can go for a "pro" Switch 2 only for TV gaming with better specs and a hybrid less powerful Switch 2 that resembles the current system. Either way I pray whatever they release be backwards compatible

Just came here to say the demo of MH stories 2 already feels better than pokemon sword shield. The fact that it has voices for every fucking dialogue and gamefreak are still using 8bit cries for pokemon, 0 voices on a switch game and remember "cant have 800 3d models on a 2020 game" excuse.

The best compliment I can give the show is that it doesn't seem like a CW show. Plus the budget is significantly higher than the other CW shows.

I don't think we have a martial arts film thread. So boom. Got a couple of movies coming down the pipeline and I've been rewatching some other stuff again like Scott Atkins Ninja. 
 
Tubi is a free streaming platform that has a fucking assload of free classic martial arts movies too. Way way more than hulu or Netflix from what I can tell. 
 
I'm excited to see this movie. My boy plays the younger version of the black guy and looks good.

RE: Mileena bro so on point. I was watching the movie when damn who dat. Eh movie wasnt awful but bad/mediocre. Good 20-25 mins of the movie were absolutely boring. First scene was dope. Some fights were cool too. They coylda just remade the 95 movie with todays tech and get a much better product. Liu Kang was a pussy, Goro is supposed to be a sub boss and dies first smh
 
Covid hasnt helped with this but I am getting sick of studios "appealing to a broader audience" aka having an introductory character to explain ALL the franchise in 20 mins so everyone "can enjoy the movie". MH movie suffered from this too and guess what, it fucking sucked. Fuck that movie. Why cant they just make a good movie that will attract ppl on its own merits? Guess that is too hard

IIRC the original Pokemon Snap didn't have the original 150 in it either so I didn't expect the new one to have anywhere close to how many there are now.

Who ever was responsible for the first ten minutes of the MK2021 should be in charge of the entire sequel. 

Honestly, I'd just rather them have powers with zero explanation as to how they got them or how they work. Not like MK is known for its realism 
 
But we all seem to agree on the fact that the major problem with this movie is adding unnecessary things that weren't ever in the game, no doubt studio meddling is to blame for that. Sometimes less is more...
