Caught up on X-Men 97 and I must say, despite my initial reservations, it's just incredible. I loved every bit of it. Can't wait to see how this season ends.
And after the last episode I must say, if they decide to make a Spider-Man 98... I'm down, man. After a long time, recently revisiting the show, that is THE definitive Spider-Man for me. I love the Raimi movies, the original comics, the Ultimate comics, Into the Spiderverse, Spider-Man PS4, the Spectacular TV show... but the truth is no version got the character so well as the 90's animated series.

I've never seen Demon Slayer. I saw a Youtube comment that described it's story as this. 😂
Demon slayers story line:Tanjiro's sister turns into a demon so he embarks on a journey with Peppa Pig and Sleepwalking Pikachu to slay Michael Jackson.
It cracked me the hell up but how accurate is it?
100% accurate.

So I finished a marathon of Bleach (skipped the filler arcs tho) and I was wondering, if anyone is familiar with the manga, if Season 3 of The Thousand Year Blood War anime will be the final one, or if there's enough content for two more. Anyone got any idea?

It's Street Fighter X Tekken all over again....minus the admittedly epic CGI cut scenes and sweet live action trailer featuring Reuben Langdon as Ken.
Anyone know how to tie up my hair to get that Mishima cut the guy who played Kazuya is rocking?

Rewatching some of Uma's matches, since I've been missing them due to the late hour and I must say the spaced out Drive Reversal bait is such an awesome technique. Literally no one had any response to it and is probably the one plus that gave him an edge against his opponents. Just amazing.
I have no doubt it's going to become a staple of SF6 moving forward, cause I can't imagine anyone watching his matches not wanting it in their arsenal. At least if other characters can pull it off as consistently well as Juri, cause that's probably going to be a big limiting factor.

I think Falke is still redeemable. Especially seeing how well Ed turned out in SF6.
The robot girl sucks. Keep that crap in Tekken.
I like the hawaian girl and am fine with a fat chick, but her design is a bit too simple. Needs a bit more flair to make it memorable.

Yeah, screw Doberman. If you want to give Ed his playable 3 Kings, go with Cypher and Baba all the way.

The gorilla guy is surely making a playable appearance in the future. He's getting name dropped a lot in Ed's win quotes.
Also, Psycho Power black baby? Did Barlog and Falke do the dirty? haha
Ed's redesgined Neo-Shadaloo uniform looks much better too. -
Man, I checked the YouTube channel to see how long the thing took and managed to catch the reset live. Would've never called Uma taking it, but to be fair I haven't kept up with his group either.

I think the point of the quote is that Rashid lost his friend due to Shadaloo and that he takes them seriously, much how Ed takes them seriously, not necessarily that something happened to Ed's friends. Even then, if Ed was kidnapped as a kid he already lost his familiy due to them. I wouldn't read too much into it.

If you aren't 100% sure a DI is coming it's just safer to parry because it also covers other options, plus a perfect parry off a DI will get a side switch. I prefer parry over DI when I'm cornered because even if you miss the perfect parry, you prevent the wall splat. Sometimes DI's don't seem to come out even when I know they're coming.
Maybe it has something to do with the freeze screen glitch where, if you press a button during the opponent's DI freeze screen your input gets eaten.

Man, when you see all the 4D chess Dhalsim players have to go through, while Luke just goes brrrrrrrr at a moment's notice, life seems really unfair.

Nah, bro, you can't convice me this Phenom vs Crossover wasn't a fix. Just nuts!

This reminds me I was once forced to play SF4 at a friend's house without really being able to reconfigure the keyboard to my preffered controls (I use the arrow keys and the numpad and he had punches/kicks on the qweasd keys) so what I ended up doing was playing crossarmed 😂 Fun memories.

.... Lowkey that sounds cool but half the characters might not quite fit the typical top-down gameplay perspective
Who said top down? 😜

Now its time we get a Street Fighter MOBA.

I find it very interesting that the initial plans in New Generation had Shadaloo and Bison (Dictator) still roaming around.

Bro, that's 3AM for me 😭

He doesn't have to be 100% lookalike. Just keep the crooked nose and his wide shoulders. Just don't use the look Kiki gave him in the CFN profile, where he looks like a twig haha

Man, I hope Tom becomes playable sometime in the future, keeping his Jean Reno inspired design. If he's stronger than Alex and has ties to the Secret Society, he would certainly be a fun addition with plenty of intrigue around him.
I think you can easily tie Remy in their story too, considering his rivalry with Alex in 3rd Strike was never really explained. Maybe they're estranged brothers, or maybe Remy is Tom's son, who was forced to abandon his family after getting entangled with the Society and wanted to keep them safe from harm. This would make Remy more involved in the story, while also demonstrating some of the reach The Secret Society has and their influence on the SF3 cast, much like how Shadaloo have been for the SF2 cast.

You don't sound like an ass fam. You make a good point. A few of them, Gamerbee and Sako come to mind, weren't Capcom Cup level this year.
I'd even go as far as count Tokido as one. Sure, he made it into LCQ Top 16 on Winner's side, but if you look at his competition and his matches, guy struggled. And he's not using Blanka, like Problem X, he's using freaking Ken. Once he was met with some real Gs he folded quite badly. And I love the guy, he's the main reason I even watched the LCQ, but really wasn't impressed.
If there's one guy in this LCQ I really felt for was Yamaguchi. His DeeJay was nuts and would've loved to see more.

I can't say I agree with you there. It was more than just a few. Bonchan, Gamerbee, Sako, Mizuha, Oil King, Mago, Xiao Hai, Ryusei, etc. Where outside of the Top 16.
Don't wanna sound like an ass, as many of them are freaking legends, but it just may be they weren't up to the task, or simply SF6 is not their game. I've followed the LCQ and can't say when it comes to actual skills, they proved superior to the unknown guys from the less known regions.
The format is fine and for 1 freaking million I wanna see the best in the world win, not populate the tournament with guys who only make it due to their names / regions.
I understand the frustration. Even I know I'm skipping Group G fights cause I have no clue who these guys are, but everyone got their fair chance.
Hell, I'm not even sure region hopping, the way Mena did, should be allowed. I know he's like the second best in the world right now and he is a freaking beast, don't get me wrong, but if you choke in every qualifer you're in... maybe you just aren't cut to be champion. Certainly not the 1 million dollar champion.
Best example is Punk. I swear that mf is the most consistently great player in both SF5 and 6. He can manhandle every name I can think off in both these games. But under pressure he just melts, so even though he's a terrific player, the fact he cracks so easily shows he ain't the best in the world.
