I think I will finally bite and get it on steam this month, even though from what I played on a friend's PS4, it doesn't quite feel like a proper KOF.
But SNK is clearly desperate for money given that travesty that they are making, so I will give them my money.

I plan on doing the same. I haven't played KOFXIV in ages. Even when I did play it was very briefly

Was up on PSN when I checked this morning. Same as the last batch: $6 per, $20 for the set.
 
I'll probably pick this up just to tip jar them to keep making fighting games. Plus if I ever move to Central America I'll be ready to go.

I've given up on XIV, I'm paying DLC for SFV and DBFZ already.
Of all the current fighting games I own KoF is the only one I never launch.
 
Gonna buy KoF '97 though since is only like 4$ with the discount coupon owners of XIV on steam got and is my favourite KoF story.
And, shit, I'll have to play Chizuru to unlock the sacred warrior ending.

Not just Japan.  It's still easy to walk into a shop and buy new Vitas in Asia.

When the casting was announced, I defended it. Starfire has orange skin. It didn't matter what the ethnicity of the actress was. My biggest issue was the actress being a decade older than Robin's actor. However I wrongfully assumed that they make her orange. Reminds me of Domino in Deadpool 2, if Super Power Beat Down could make an accurate live action Domino, why can't Hollywood do the same for Starfire and Domino.

Just noticed we don't have Soul Calibur thread. My personal favorite fighting game franchise from Namco, sorry Tekken fans. It seems SCVI is going back to more of a SC2 style of game. I actually really like almost all of the new chars Capcom has introduced in SFV. Even if I don't want to play them or sometimes hate fighting against them. S2 will probably always be my favorite one (barring an upcoming season adding like Viper and Poison in one go) due to the 5 new (to SF) faces being great additions.  Again give or take the actual mechanical implementation of those characters since Capcom's balancing is so-so.
