Also, a new DS has the bennefit that is a series that capcom fully owns, so that clears the extra hurdle of dealing with an external company for any decision making on who to add, how to monetize and share revenue.
 
I know people love mvc, but is clear that between 3 and infinite, Disney has become a pain in the ass to deal with, not to mention, the marvel brand is expensive now.
Capcom is way better doing their own thing, like a new DS, or a brand new vs style game focused on their own ips.
 
They are Disney levels of drowning on decades of ips and chars that could easily be part of the cast that will allow for a variety of gameplay.

Is kind of idiotic how capcom censored the costume when Cammy is usually showing way more skin.

It kind of gives credence to the leak, that they will start going the go woke go broke route.

While is true that former Capcom and SNK devs went to ASW.
ASW has been around since the 80's.

Hello all, been busy lately but got some spare time now. Hope you all doing fine.
 
I also been spending time learning better renders and poses in Blender and ofc used those skills to do some stuff with Juri.To achieve proper light and shadow can be really tough but i looked quite a lot into scene creation and hdri renders. I think it's starting to pay off. I am happy with my progress so far.

I think that DS can coexists with SF.
While there are surely an overlap between people who play SF and people who would like DS, there is also a good portion of players that would play it that dont touch SF at all.
Treating it like a SF spinoff wouldnt really be different as re releasing old games, it would even probably do more damage since it would be seem as capcom halfassing both the game and the effort.
 
DS covers a niche that neither SF or MVC does.
And also, despite capcom not releasing a new game in decades, the series still has a strong pop culture following, even outside the fgc.
 
One thing though, i am really sure that if a DS ever happened, there would be some changes to the formula, mostly on the control scheme and probably the addition of an autocombo system, in order to allow the new game to capitalize on the peripheral market around the series.

You know, it would be glorious if Capcom and ASW teamed up again to release a new DS.

By this point many game are only know by the memes surrounding them perpetuated by both the players and detractors of each series.
I kind of chuckled when he said that DS is easy to get into or that is "Balanced"
Like, is true, is not hard like lets say Tekken if you want to be competitively effective, and is not mvc2 levels of unbalanced, but you have to be aware of a lot of stuff and the game has a good chunck of matchups that you will simly eat dirt a good chunck of the time, lol

Nintendo should tell the Smash community they'll re-release Melee when they all take a fucking shower.

They have to do what they have already been doing for years, haul Cubes and CRTS to events. Thats what they have to do. Get with it or move on to a newer Smash. 
 
Also I liked RCG more then SOR4 personally. I find the RPG mechanics of gaining new moves and buffing your fighter to be more engaging over the long term, i like the Aesthetic and music more, and i really liked the combat a good deal. SOR4 was awesome, but RCG edged it out by a hair. Frankly I am thrilled to have two amazing brawlers in 1 year.

Nintendo will never re-release any Smash game. Why would they? Smash is a monstrous casual base and each new game tends to outdo the last one. Melee turds only hope is if Nintendo brings back virtual console and puts Melee on it.

That will never happen. Were never, ever going to get a rerelease of Melee, especially not when Smash Ultimate is still making money. 
People need to understand Melee is DEAD. And when it comes up to time Nintendo rather Develop a new Smash bros than to ever remake Melee.
We will see the N64 game and Brawl remade a dozen times over long before we see Melee see the light of day.

I started seeing this. Smashers acting like Nintendo didn't crack down on emulation and fan projects when Iwata in charge. Iwata was in charge when Nintendo took down R4 flash cards and killed a bunch of fan games like 2 metroid 2 remake projects and a handful of Pokemon ones.

Well, yeah, they’d have to refuse. 
 It was an online event for a game that doesn’t have online. 
 
I get what people are saying, it’s Nintendo’s yard and they can yell at the kids to get off it if they so choose. 
 
But I honestly think that Nintendo should read the room and realize if they rereleased melee with good netcode people would buy it. The player base is telling you what they want, you didn’t give it to them, so they made it themselves.

After 2 minutes of this video, I am convinced that the people who want Darkstalkers the most are the ones who have never played it. Mind you, I'm down for more goofy crazy DS3 rushdown nonsense. But people definitely don't know how hard you get dunked in that game.

I modded it so i could play homebrew stuff, and since we have a family lunch every saturday, i started playing mario games with my sister and my nephews.

And Satan is a demon that predates the judeo christian religions, that was later incorporated to the traditions.
