Is juri considered a hard character to learn/play? I feel like she's complicated to learn because she has a lot of options and routes to play her. She can choose to go for damage,oki, or stock up. She's pretty strong but definitely not jp,ken,guile,luke strong, but shes has to be top 3 more fun characters for sure.

You know, I wasn't really too excited about Tekken 8. Even though I thought Tekken 7 was one hell of a game, I never really got into it like that.

 

After giving the beta a try, I can say that I'm looking forward to it now.

 

I played Jun a lot in Tekken 2, so it was nice to use her again. I tend to gravitate to Xiaoyu. 

 

My Tekken 8 ID was "MyJunIsFree" 😄

I think parry in this game is kind of silly buy I don’t know if I’d say go straight to 3s style. But at the bare minimum having to choose low or high would be appreciated.

 

After playing a couple good Luke’s I thought about switching to him. But my ptsd from sfv and pride won’t let me lol.

Just saw the news about Floe, that's really unfortunate. He seemed like a genuinely nice guy who always distanced himself from the puerile drama that often happened in the scene.

 

But at the risk of sounding tactless, it also emphasizes how important it is to have a healthy lifestyle even while participating in a hobby and community that doesn't often align with it.

Insane that SF6 is already on track to break 2.5m copies in barely 5 months, that is a MASSIVE difference in financial performance compared to V

 

I think by 1st anniversary it'll easily cross 3 million, if not more. Which also means it's a guaranteed spot in Capcom hall of fame

Xbox is about to start banning 3rd party controllers.

 

Most of the people I know that play fighting games on the Xbox are doing it because of the wide variety of controller options it has.

I know SF6 makes great efforts to be accessible, but something about changing the audio cues for certain moves via mods really bugs me.

I guess avatar item sets are a big draw for the casual crowd for SF6? I just find it wild we've had 3 or 4 sets drop since release but we still haven't seen the new costumes for the main cast

I managed to get to Master with A.K.I. before the end of the season. I would have probably got there a lot sooner if I played more often, ranking up in Diamond is pretty easy in this rank system. The MR grind on the other hand looks pretty brutal.
