It's insane to think we're just over a week until release, and I still have about 10 chars I want to explore. I think the only ones I'm uninterested in are Ken, Blanka, and Manon. It's going to be madness on release day. Do we know if it's a midnight release?

The skyscraper in the very distant background on the right hand side. Each storey has copy-pasted windows. Has been doing my nut in for coming on a year...

Double-tap forward with parry on the second tap is the quickest way, but it takes a bit of practise. I'm still learning how to get the timing from moves that launch, mid combo when I'm set back to neutral.

I'm a very big and oh-so brave man, but I'm really fucking squeamish; I recoil at a stab wound, and gore makes me wince, a tonne. Think it might be to do with severe boiling water burns I had as a kid (I'm fine, it was my foot. I'm not quite Two Face) - that open wound had to be mopped out  three times a week. Still makes me shudder, but Jamie's seems just nasty enough.

I haven't seen anything notable about crap animations in SF6. It kinda bugs me in a sense, like when graphics 'experts' spend time to zoom in on a wall and say "this texture is awful!" Like most, I haven't watched the 1hr+ video. 

If you don't notice it while playing, then grand. 
 

I tend to avoid Eventhubs, as it's a ridiculous site, but I just read Twitter, Reddit and the folk here. If you're trying to make something better than EH, then good luck!

The open beta preload's live on Steam, has a weird message though:

"Notice: At the request of the publisher, Street Fighter™ 6 - Open Beta is unlisted on the Steam store and will not appear in search."

Weird detail on the Steam page for SF6, there's a "Request access" button for the upcoming Open Beta. Kinda weird for an "open" beta, but I still clicked it real good and hard.

Aye, hopefully he'll make it in, there hasn't been a Bison in any game I haven't found fun. I was 90% sure the leaks were from the beta, but it was bugging me - so here we go

I seem to remember the leaks being from the beta, we got three letter placeholders for GUL, URN, IBK, etc.? I was pretty confident Guile was coming before purchase, but that might just be because they changed Charlie from charge.

I'm struggling to find games I want to play. I stare at my Steam list, and end up just talking shit to friends, every night. Tempted to restart Valkyria Chronicles 4, and it feels a slog to get back into DQXI.

Edit: I'm even tempted to start DOS2 again, and start BG3, even though that'll be out of early access in a few months. Decision paralysis is real.

I'm genuinely interested in over half of the cast. I'm unsure about Guile though. His standard booms seem so much weaker.
