I had to read over my post again to make sure...I didn't say having a hispanic character or any character would  make any game better.  I said it would be awesome if they did.  I'm for diversity but what I don't want is shoehorned/forced diversity.  I want it to be natural instead of people feeling they are just checking a box because it may end up hampering the game if you are doing it just to do it.  I will say in the case of Smash the one character I will find the most odd that they didn't go with was Twintelle.  When she came out for Arms she was all the rage over the internet but they went with Min Min so I'm curious about the thought process on that decision.  Did they not want to nerf her ass in the transition or something?

Good shit, man. It ain't the easiest thing in the world, but life is way better for me without it.

Restarted Bloodborne this weekend. 
 
I try to replay it every October, and remember every October how much I think Central Yharnam is a total drag. 
 
It's hands down my least favorite area in the game and I almost put the game down every year cause I find it miserable.

Jaron Lanier is the shit. Listening to his stuff went a long way to convince me that social media is the devil.  One thing they helps if you are going to use it is the use the web clients vs the apps. You give up a lot of data because Facebook apps especially will grab info from other apps on your device. 

Social Media is like anything else, its all a matter of how much you let it dominate you life. The extent of Social Media for me is here, 2 Discord Channels and random Youtube comments.

Yeah, Jaron was talking this shit back in 2018, almost word for word. 
 
The thing I look at differently now is how much of my data and information social media and websites steal.
 
For example, when youtube gives me one of the survey ads instead of the normal ads, my thought used to be "Oh this is fun" now my thought is:

 

I've been listening to some of Jaron Lanier's talks and lectures about how there's a lot of signs that social media is going to cause the end of society as we know it. Interesting stuff
