You said Arcade Pi so I assumed arcade games. If you are doing more then arcade stuff then that widens the list considerably, but if you are wanting to stick to Arcade games, specifically Arcade Shmups then you'll have to accept that you're gonna get waxed. There really is "Babies first" when it comes to Arcade Shmups. They all want your money. 
 
The Solider Blade recommendation is a good one, tho I disagree strongly on it being the only one you need, not even close. Might be the best of the Soldier series tho. All the Soldier games are highly recommended, very good series. The Turbo Grafix 16 is a great place to look for quality Shmups. The first two Soldier games are Fanicom games tho, keep that in mind. Honestly the SNES library is a joke for Shmups imo. It has a couple standout titles in its pitiful list of Shmups and even the standout ones are outclassed by shmups on other consoles of the era. I would advise looking at the Genesis/Megadrive list of Shmups, there are a ton of amazing shooters on that console. Stomps all over the SNES in that regard. Some titles to start you off would Battle Mania/Battle Daijinjou, Eliminate Down (this one is tough) Genesis Fantasy Zone is a great little title, Whip Rush is under rated, Elemental Master and Twinkle Star Sprite, as well as Steel Empire, Grind Stormer and TRUXTON. 
 
Both Grind Stormer andTruxton have better arcade releases under the names V-V (that's pronounced V-5) and Tatsujin respectively. 
 
That's a decent starting list. I can recommend a bunch of other stuff to across a large list of hardware. 

Racing gaming chairs are retarded. Those things are designed to hold u in place while your car is flinging you around fast bends or crashes and shit. Ain't no one experiencing shit all G's in front of their monitors. 

I personally would not recommend a gaming chair, but people should get what makes them happy.

I generally try to stay away from anything labeled 'gaming'.  There are plenty of good office chairs out there.  Similarly, I use studio headphones + a good mic rather than any sort of 'gaming' headset for my audio setup.

my last X-Mas Gift came in...A new chair! that hard flat padded folding chair is what I have been using for at least 2 years now...I never bothered to get one sooner because I was at work so much I rarely sat at my home desk. It's not flashy like those gamer chairs but real talk those chairs are a meme.

2007 was some wild times 

Gootecks really got bodied by SFV. You could tell he was ready for something new after so many years of playing SFIV. It became a job for him, watch any of the late stage Excellent Adventure SFIV episodes, you can tell the dude's heart wasn't in it.
Then V dropped and the launch was bungled, he got bodied at tournaments, and it went straight to his head. 
 
He thought he needed street fighter to make a living and he started hating street fighter, so the guy just sorta spiraled. Outside of PogChamp, no one's really given a shit about Gootecks since 2016. 
 
Then he started saying wild shit about COVID and everyone was all about gootecks again, albeit in a bad way. Dude just wanted attention and was willing to go all Alex Jones and start talking crazy shit. 
 
Also, I'm just speculating. Maybe the real Gootecks was abducted by  aliens and this a body double. Maybe he ate a bunch of ayahuasca in march of 2020 and that shit is still floating around in his system and he's still actually tripping.

Ohh shiiit I forgot about the psp. That was my smart phone before smart phones were a thing. Had my music, games, and “homework” videos
 
I played the Star Wars battlefront game on there literally until the disc broke. 

My final Christmas present is finally about to get here. My wife got me a Raspberry Pi, and I'm planning on making a retro pi arcade set-up. 
 
It'll be a few weeks at least until it's done, knowing my dumbass, but Imma need some recommendations from y'all about what games I'll put on there.
