With all the FFV I've been playing, I wanted to go with RPG battle music today.

I stumbled across Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts on Netlfix. I'm four episodes in and really enjoying it. I'm a sucker for a good post apocalyptic story.

Playing FINAL FANTASY V Pixel Remaster, Maaaaaan, the ABP Boost is a godsend in this game. I mastered very few Job Classes in the PS and GBA version of FFV because you were lucky if you came across an enemy that gave you 5 ABP. Thanks to ABP Boost, I fight Black Flames and get 12 ABP every time. I was decent with 4 ABP I was getting in most fights but now I can get 12? That's what's good. And that arranged FFVPR soundtrack...

First VGM Friday of 2024, LES GET IIIIITTTTT!!!

Since the year is just getting started, I thought I'd go with some beginning/first level themes.

Splatoon 3. We were getting bodied by this Sploosh-o-Matic user. They had 10 kills. Unfortunately for them in Turf War, you gotta, you know, paint the turf. I checked the map time and again and the opposing team was doing a subpar job painting. By the time they realized they were doing more killing than painting, it was too late.  

Dave the Diver is on sale on the eShop for $15.99. Bought.

My last physical game purchase for 2023 was Fight'N Rage on Switch. My first physical game for 2024 was Cuphead. I meant to pick it up a long while ago but never did. Amazon had that sucker on sale so I jumped on it.

I don't know about other systems but DariusBurst CS Cire + TAITO/SEGA Pack is on sale for $17.99 on the eShop through January 5th. Really good deal for a dope SHMUP. The SEGA and Taito ships give what was already a really good SHMUP a new feel. Plus, you get the music from the respective games. METAL BLACK and RayForce music in a Darius game is great.

Even if they are past level 4 and are no longer sporting that noob fit, they still got that noob smell. Which includes running instead of swimming in your own ink, no knowledge of how to use sub weapons and my personal favorite, using stick to aim.

My guy, that is me with Diablo III: Eternal Collection right now.

I got my dad Diablo III: Eternal Collection. He's really enjoying it and seeing him play made me wanna fire up my copy. So I started a new game as a Demon Hunter.

In case anyone that played it was not aware, Gravity Circuit is getting a physical release.

F-ZERO 99. I'm working on unlocking my color alts for Golden Fox. This machine is great for boosting but man, it cannot take a lot of punishment. I KOed myself two times last night because there was no way I was giving other players the satisfaction of taking me out. If I go out in a bang, I go out in a bang on my own terms.
