The writing in X-Men '97 is so. GOOD. If MCU X-Men doesn't match or surpass this quality I'm finna be a mighty sad panda.

Deve and gamer "wants/needs" for all this super high end 4K 8K stuff is really concerning. Is it impressive? Yes. Do I need it? No, not really. Devs/pubs keep saying the cost of game making is going up yet who insists on crafting all these super high tech games that struggle to maintain consistency and end up having huge AF file sizes?
To be completely honest, IDGAF about 4K in my games or TV shows.

SpoilerGladiator having a complete NO SALE on Deathbird's claws and then hitting her with the "Girl, sidown" punch, which was a love tap compared to how hard he really could have hit her.
Professor X took the Shi'ar people to school and Deathbird got demerits, because that broad is racist AF. And Chuck literally felt the ish going down on Earth. Man man, straight FELT when Gambit died. Or at least, it felt like he did.
And of course Trask had something to do with Genosha getting slaughtered. What did he think a Godzilla Sentinel was gonna do? And Trask asks to be killed? Nah, son. I want that MF to live with all that death on his conscience. Killing Trask would be WAY too good for him.

I'm really enjoying the Mighty Marvel Masterworks line. Though smaller and lacking the letters section, these are nice way to experience the early Marvel days without paying through the nose for a ton of HCs. I went ahead and picked up Vol. 1-2 of Daredevil and the Mighty Thor. That Jack Kirby and Gene Colan artwork?
John Romita did some FINE art on Daredevil.
Might be a hot take, but I really like Michael Cho's artworks for these MMM TPBs. I've seen some folks gripe on Amazon that Kirby and Ditko artwork isn't on the cover, as if it's a crime to have otherwise but the art is CLEAN and it further helps to differentiate these MMM TPBs from the MM HCs.
I'm almost done with MMM X-Men vol. 1. I love seeing the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants constantly tell Master Mind high key that his mutant ability is TRASH.

Dude was like "You normies are lucky we are not like the FOH, or else we would air this whole planet out." Man may is getting sick of being the Shepard.

SpoilerMy man went out like MF GOAT. Got some baller scenes before his death as well. Yeah, I'm sure Cable is gonna pull a rewind but this episode still hit me in the feels. And Rogue in tears with that Death of Superman cradle? MY FEELS!!!

I guess I made some enemies in Skyrim because when I fast traveled to a village near the quest I was doing, I IMMEDIATELY got jumped.
These MFs were on some crazy demon time. Like, this ish was worse than that time in Breath of the Wild where I used a campfire to pass the time, a Blood Moon goes down and when it's over, I'm sitting next to a squad of enemies looking to give me the meanest fade. Granted, it's only 3 dudes in Skyrim but... I'm a total noob. Two of them got shields and I'm still packing scrub equipment. These dudes are whaling on me like...
Between Skyrim and Rayman Legends, Princess Peach: Showtime is a nice, chill game for me. Even though I somehow messed up the first cake stage. How can I save the world in other games, yet struggle with bakery stuff?

Playing 4 skull difficulty ranked levels in Rayman Legends is making me feel some kinda way. In these stages, its tougher to get everything and it just irks me to pass by and see that I don't have everything in all the stages I've played thus far.
I fired up Crimson Clover World Explosion. I wish this had a physical copy. Since I haven't played in a hot minute, I'm super rusty. Lost count of how many continues I used. And the game tells me to beat stage 5 without using a continiue.
Look, game, I know I'm cheeks. You don't gotta rub salt.

Finally saw episode 4 of X-Men '97. Fun stuff. Love all the references and Easter Eggs.
In episode Roberto tells Jubilee "Video games are for nerds." Motendo was payback for that remark.

Rayman Legends. After buying the Wii U version and never played it, I picked it up on Switch about two months ago and I'm making my way through the first world. Rayman Legends deserves all the praise it gets. Tons of characters to play, beautiful, challenging levels and a superb soundtrack. Like Origins before it, Legends kicks lives to the curve. I think Rayman Origins was one of the first games I played to do away with lives and considering all the times I died playing that game (what is with all the spikes, were the devs a fan of Mega Man 9?), I did not mind lives going bye-bye
Picked up Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on Switch. This is my first Elder Scrolls game and I'm liking it so far. I'm tempted to steal some stuff but I worry if that may make things hard on me later.

I finally read Chip Zdarsky's Spider-Man: Spider's Shadow mini series. Dude is one of the best writers to pen Spidey. The twists and turns he put in the story worked so well. And kudos to having someone in the story call out Eddie Brock for his stupid reasons for hating Spider-Man. Like how DARE Spider-Man catch the actual Sin Eater killer.
