     I thought I'm pretty good in the Souls game(played and beaten original Demon Soul, DS 2) but I just spend 1 hour+ yesterday tryna to beat this beast:

    ..and I failed horribly and had to tapped out. He just goes fucking ballistic when he is down to 50% HP like a lvl 99 Super Saiyan bullshit. Best I got it down was 20% and that was with 2 other homies.

      Maybe I'm just getting old?

    Elden Ring is so hype! Shenanigans i got into last night:

    -Farmed 30 minutes killing bambies in the meadow forest only to realize after it's more efficient to farm the souls and just buy the arrows from npc

    - HAWKS with dual wield KATANAS??

    -Burned about 15 fingers before giving up on the 'plant dragon' boss in the basement; I think you have to be lvl 40+ for it; it's finest KO when you get grabbed; it's a huge mfker!

    -Finally killed one of the Kings, Godrick and like a true scrub, i used the dropped item for a measly 20k gain when I really should've saved it.Ffffuuuu i got so hype. The followup lore breakdown afterwards is great though!

    Shits got real when he 'borrowed' the nearby dragon as a weapon extension.  Jelly summon+barbarian NPC(she close by around the last grace point before boss zone) made the fight manageable for me.

     

    Gahh...must continue. Can we clock out yet from work??

    Yea the economic sanctions implemented are already taking its effect in the Russia market.

      The rouble went down as much as 30% value already; Russia countered by increasing key interests from 9.5% to 20%🤣

    Print as much rouble as you want but it's worth shit if it doesn't have $ value globally.   Disabling Russia in the global SWIFT bank system is also a huge blow. I do wonder if Putin really recognize just how interconnected/interdependent we are nowadays and how easily these Russian oligarchs can easily be found. Many companies/events are also cutting their relation with Russia. News reporters are basically pulling an on-nighter finding these oligarchs.

      What your describing is why I left my position 4 years ago at my old job; I was reporting to too many fucking directors about status of projects etc instead of actually doing dev work. Last straw for me was an 'End of week Status' report where I literally need to track how many *MINUTES* i spent working on X,Y,Z project, meetings, lunch break, answering lvl 3 tech support etc. Nigga, you want me to actually do some coding or just do fucking TPS reports all day!? Funny enough, in my exit interview, the head honcho of IT dept ask me if  'what if,theoretically, we can create a new position strictly for you, would you be interested(in staying)?'  In my head, "Fuck no! I've been telling you clowns to hire more fucking software devs this entire time to handle the ever growing custom requests!"

      What i officially answer, 'I'm honored but I have already accepted a position somewhere else etc'.

    Kinda insane Russia is willing to jeopardize the Nord Stream 2 project, an 11 BILLION dollar investment, which is practically complete and just waiting for approval over this Ukraine bs. Maybe Russia is still salty over what happened  with the privatization of their local industry, especially oil(the book,Red Notice, explains this in detail)? Cold war result?? Who knows.

      Weird fact; US had a huge child adoption program with orphaned Russian kids back in the day but when Russia was accused of human rights violation, Russia answered by shutting down the adoption program; i mean wut?

    The world is still dealing with this Covid bullshit; ain't got no time for a fucking world war. With everything nowadays so interconnected, one or another, why risk it? Russia imo is still dreaming of the USSR days and wants to be 'recognize' again as a world power. It's the people living day to day is going to be hurt the most.

     Another scary thought; this is probably going to be the  first full scale cyber warfare we are going to witness. Fuck man.

    Daaamn thanks for the link bruv! Spot-on analysis; its fucking crazy how China is approaching Orwellian-level of society; if their 'social token' program ever lift off, its'  gg imo. 

     For the West, i think it's a mix of Brave New World/Fahrenheit 451;  bombard society with so much information that the truth becomes even harder to distinguish and they become 'numb' and each create their own 'truth bubble' to cope or just straight up ignore.

    Weird as it sounds; i think that's also what distinguish HZD from similar games in the system. The 'ugly' main character actually stands out for me. The storyline is also what sold me in the game;  voice acting overall was tight if i remember right.

    Superbowl game yesterday was actually decent imo. Could've gone either way. 

    Agreed regarding the celebs in commercial; I barely recognized Jim Carrey. 

      Speaking of old celebs, Elizabeth Hurley is apparently 56 but as Thor as my witness, will still smash it w/o regret.
