Just read it, I didn’t see anything even remotely controversial. Chapter was pretty business as usual. 

I think the implication is pretty clear that this wish only allowed them to survive into adulthood. Bardock “wished for them to thrive”, and both Goku and Raditz definitely did and became powerful adult warriors. 
 
I mean, if the wish was the only thing keeping Goku alive for HIS ENTIRE LIFE, why didn’t Raditz survive then? 
 
I never really got the implication that the wish is why Goku always succeeds (because he actually doesn’t), but rather it kept Goku and Raditz safe long enough so they could “thrive” and become powerful warriors. 

The GameWorks in Seattle had a Star Wars Pod Racer cab. It was one of the first things you saw when you walked in. The cab was massive. It was a 2P cab but the size of two 2P racing cabs put together since the sit down parts of the cab were the cock pits of pod racers. I think left side was anakin and right was sebulba. I can’t remember

People were complaining in my twitter feed about the wish Bardock made that seems to imply which also Vegeta also states in this chapter that the only reason Goku perservered through his challenges was because of the wish.  This was revealed more so in the previous chapter but Vegeta commenting on it seems to more confirm this might be the case. 
 
Edit:  One thing to note on this though is we still don't have a 100% confirmation that this wish even really occurred though cause I have to go back an reread the previous chapter.  Munaito asks Bardock if he wants to make a wish and Bardock doesn't even know WTF Munaito is talking about since they're talking through telepathy and Bardock says it in a kind of dismissive manner this is on top that we never see Munaito "on screen" as it were actually making the wish.   So can only speculate and assume that Munaito did make the wish for now...which doesn't explain Raditz.  Personally think people may need to chill out to find out of Munaito actually made the wish how Bardock said it or if he said something different.  I find it really interesting that the manga seems to go out of the way to not show Munaito make the wish before the balls depart.

I’ve already argued ad naseam about this character since she’s released, so I’ll just say this. Labcoat is definitely not worse than Season 2 GT. 
 
That being said: she’s easily the best character in the game right now and is eating up top 8’s at every tournament. As someone who’s competed offline several times this month; it’s obvious to me that she’s on every team at all levels of play too, simply because she’s such an well-rounded no brainer.
 
Incredible multi hit buttons with amazing frame data, all variations of beams and fireballs, all great assists (A being one of the best in the game), debuff, 3 unique supers, amazing damage, OTG stomps, easiest rejumps in the game….list goes on and on.
 
It’s not a problem that she’s a good character. Frankly, the debuff is what puts her right over the line into overbearing territory. She debuffs you, then you have to debuff her, and eventually you have matches that can already take a long ass time, stretching into eternity. It’s not fun to watch, it’s certainly not fun to play. 
 
You could leave her entire kit intact except for this debuff, and that change alone would probably be a huge boon to the game right now. Some people are asking for debuff to straight up be removed, but nah, doesn’t need to be that extreme. Just take away the permanent nature of the buff, maybe when she dies or switches out.  Anything but the way it works right now. 🙄

For 2D Sonic 3K has always dominated my mind palace for Sonic games in general, as in top Sonic game period 2D or 3D....but then Mania came out.  And probably depending on the day I might say 3K or Mania.  I really honestly can't pick between the both of them because 1 day I'll be like "man the music in 3K is so good and it's awesome that MJ had a hand in involvement with it"...and then fucking Stardust Speedway Act 1, Blossom Haze,  Egg Reverie, Studiopolis Act 1 or Act 2, Metallic Madness Act 1 or 2, or Wildstyle Pistolero show up in my playlist while I'm working or driving and it just takes over my mind for at least half an hour.  Then I think about all the different characters Mania has and how they've been handled in terms of animation and playstyle and then I think about how 3K is still the only game that even acknowledges Hyper Forms as a thing.   Like right now in this moment with you putting the spotlight on me?  It's Mania right now just barely edging it out.  Both games are example of how I feel peak Sonic game design gameplay should be.  Speed as a reward through memorization and repetition but you don't have to go fast if you don't want to and because of how the levels are designed it can even be beneficial to explore especially if you're trying to collect all the emeralds.  They are both perfect Sonic games in my eyes.
 
As for 3D?  Its Generations.  It's not my perfect 3D Sonic game either...that game hasn't been made yet.  As much as I enjoyed Generations there were definitely some things here and there that bug me especially with how heavy Classic Sonic's jump feels in that game.  Generations also rewards speed through exploration and repetition but not in the same way the 2D games do especially in regards to how busted Classic Sonic's Spindash is and Boost.    The 3D Sonic game that I've probably put the most amount of hours into though is probably Sonic Adventure 2 Battle.  It's the only game on my 3D list that's near Generations and by near I mean not very.  Most of the 3D games for me are in big cluster together and then waaay out is Generations. 
 
 
And just as an aside, my perfect 3D Sonic game would be something that has the mechanics of Daytime Unleashed/Generations, an expansion on the idea of the wall run/Parkour that they messed around with in Lost World, with a SA1 style open world hub that would give you the freedom to run about similar to the outside of Peach's Castle in SM64.  I'd also like to have other characters in the game either playable or at least interacting with each other with a story that's closer to the IDW comics in terms of tone ( which in itself is a mixture of Adventure with light meta humor).   Lastly I'd wish the game would at least take some influence from 3K/Mania in terms of design.  Stages having multiple paths with some exploration without it being forced.   I'm really hoping that Frontiers gets close to what I want since it seems to have a good chance of getting it but I'm not holding my breath right now...I need to see actual gameplay before I can even attempt to try to get hype but them actually bringing in Ian Flynn is definitely a step in the right direction hopefully.

I finally got to see Sonic 2 today. I wanted to last week , but had some relatives over.
 
Pros:
 
Ben/Idris/Jim/Colleen did awesome. I'm unfamiliar with sonic other than playing Sonic 2 occasionally on my cousin's Genesis, but the voices/performances were great. Jim is on point as usual.
 
The humor was good , but not too groan inducing. Rachel/Wade/Stone are entertaining. Coming from 5 Bay Transformers films and 2 TMNT, the human characters are NOWHERE AS ANNOYING!
 
The lore/backstory was minimal, but worked for the story.
 
The air bubble moment and ring tone moments as well as the ski sequences/final battle were good action setpieces.
 
 
Cons
 
The runtime could have been reduced by 10-15  minutes to make it tighter.
 
Overall: 8/10
 
Better than the first.
Tied with MK 1995 as the best live action video game movie I've ever seen

Honestly while there is a vocal minority, I don't see them being strong enough if the premise is good. Unfortunately with the Star Wars films they haven't had strong premises in a while. Rogue One defied expectations.

People clowned Pod Racing in general. Then the game got announced and was met with "Pod Racing? Really". So it was funny to see it come out and  be excellent. 

Based off what the PG-13 rating let Marvel get away with in Multiverse of Madness, the Blade reboot will be just fine. Need I remind everyone of the numerous swears and Wanda did to certain ppl in that movie lol
 
The Blade movies issues will probably come from ppl constantly comparing Ali to Snipes and possibly not accepting him in the role. Might also be an issue of Ali not being a martial artist in real life, so his physical scenes may not be as intense
