I removed the plastic around the switches, cut out the old battery area (that held 2 AA Batteries) to put in it's place a single AAA battery holder.
And remove the tension system from the Top Cover and cut what plastic I could to lower the weight. The one thing I didn't go for was drilling holes to lighten the body further and I never though that looked good. But I would consider a 3D printed cover with Hexagon shaped cutouts if I can find a good 3D Print service that isn't too expensive.

I Still need to replace the Scroll Wheel, the two click Switches and the Teflon skates on the bottom of the mouse.

    So this in the article,

NVIDIA has confirmed to The Verge

    The Verge ? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Why people acting like the Verge is any sort of authority any more?

Nvidia needs to tell this to the reviewers testing the cards, especially Igor's Lab that they are right and something should be done about it.

Also the stupid sense pin thing was Intel's idea (way hold everyone back again Intel) as they are on the PCI SIG list of member companies.
Although no statement is found yet, AMD is most likely not going though with this awful 12VHPWR connector.

    More on the Nvidia thing

Apparently custom made PSU cables work better than Nvidia's own awful mess.
Corsair already started shipping PSUs with a dedicated 12VHPWR cable.
And Cable Mod making more robust versions of the 12VHPWR cable with thicker gauge wire and each pin having a individual wire instead of a stupid soldered on Bus Bar.

I rather just stick to Team AMD

13900K pulls 300+ watts. WTF. That's almost much as my 6900XT. CPUs pulling high end GPU now. It's pulling 70% more power than the 7950X's 175 watts. I remember when AMD CPUs were space heaters and Intel was the efficient one. How times change.

The same company who though this would be a good stock cooler

Actually that is the old stock cooler, this is the new one

    Intel-Laminar-RM1-Alder-Lake-S-65W-Coole

It looks shinny, but its the same POS.

Oh and for reference, the AMD stock cooler

VA's are (typically) basically contractors.  I'm not sure why anyone would think they deserve royalties on the items sold.  They are contracted out and paid to do a job and that's that, just like any other contracting job.

It's that way with Live-action TV shows and movies, you get royalties and residuals. I don't see how one form of acting is any different than another.

Doesn't hurt to ask and offer what you can.  I'm sure there would have been a big stink from the Shitter mob had she not been asked to begin with.

Okay I got some different info.

Apparently they low ball Helena as they want her to turn it down. They weren't happy with how she's posting her political ideals on social media and they rather she quit than them firing her. She handled it badly, but so did they.

Blocking anyone who disagree or posted in English is a bad optic.

Ultimately, if she didn't think they offered enough, she could say no- which is what she did. That's fine. Platinum could have re-negotiated, or hired someone else, which is what they did. That's also fine. It is their game to make, not hers. This is the equivalent of you getting two bids to have your roof replaced, going with the lower bid, having the rejected contractor tell everyone to boycott your accounting services, then you get Shitter mobbed over it.

Except this narrative falls apart as they Jennifer Hale a VA that is more well known and would cost the studio more.

Is dumb as hell that people are jumping to boycott the game.

To me her move actually reeks of arrogance, since she seems to be entitled to not only get a preferential treatment over the rest of the people who worked on the game, but also, a person full of malice since she is now moving the idiot masses into hurting the people who worked on the game because she was not offered what she deemed as a fair amount to her.

Helena is doing what someone with nothing to lose trying to do, she putting all the cards up on the table and told Platinum do your worst.
She called them out on bad practices. It's not a bad move

The Idiot masses will do what they do because they feel free to do what ever they want on the internet. Apparently people act with out a filter or common sense on the Interwebs.

I wouldn't be surprised if their high profile game tanks because this, then they will be affected negatively.

With many people very likely losing their jobs, and at worse, the studio closing if this game

Then its on platinum not Helena. You reap what you sew.

We'd need to verify the accuracy of this, but this is true. It looks like she was offered the standard union rate. @ShockDingoThis info accurate?

Well I am no expert (I know people who are VAs and they are outraged too), the median pay for voice actor work is about $38.75 an hour. And if we go by these rates $4000 would cover about 103 hours of work (that's the time you put in, not the audio they use). Although pay can be as low as $6.49 or as high as $100. Higher still if you are doing voice work for Audio Books. Question is how many hours is she expected to work

Keep in mind most Voice actors work as VAs part-time as the work isn't steady, many do voice work as a side gig or a hobby instead of a primary source of income.

I know people breaking fresh into VA work got a starting offer better than what Hellena Taylor is given for Bayo 3.

This would probably sound shitty, but I don't share the idea that voice actors should get residuals for how much copies a games sells.

I do think that their rates should be better, sure, but to me is absurd to think that a voice actor should get more benefits for how much a game sells while the people who actually worked on it for years are not granted a similar benefit, specially when their work in proportion is way smaller than the work done by programmers, the art department, music department, etc.

I find this a false dichotomy. Just because someone else is paid shit dosen't mean other has be paid shit too.
Thats like going oh McDonald's employees shouldn't be paid a living wage as that pay raise would be more than I make now as an Accountant.
Maybe you as the accountant should ask for better pay or go to someone who offers better pay then.
