Yes I know you will make up whatever you need to, to defend the stance you have created for yourself, I am well aware.

So you are for Nintendo turning a blind eye to whats going on with this Denuvo business?
Nintendo who keep their closed ecosystem closer than anyone else, you think they would not weigh in with Denuvo?

Well of course you don't, like Darksakul you didn't read the article. Nintendo has nothing to do with this, it's a 3rd party project for 3rd party developers. Nintendo isn't involved at all.

I had read the article, I take Nintendo's silence as compliance. Nidy has the final say what's on each cart, if they allowed games to have Denovu, they are just as guilty

It was the lamest dis travkk to. "Your music don't get radio play in my car" or whatever, while 50% of the song is Em beats and flows. Couldn't tell if he was dissing Em or suckin his dick.

I hope Em ignores his ass. No need to make this dudes career for him.

I don't think Eminem cares any more.

As long as you leave his daughter alone, I doubt he do anything.

Shit, are they not scarce anymore? I saw this, went over there, and snapped one up. Then I went to the comments on that post and people are implying they aren't that hard to get nowadays. I thought they were.

The PS5 still is in places. My Cousin's husband been trying to look for one in Europe  with no luck.

From my understanding a lot of peoples main issues with denuvo is how companies implement it as more than just a security check. There’s been dozens of instances where companies get caught using denuvo to fish for and sell user data.

It's know that Denuvo encrypts and deencrypts large amounts of data, and it requires a Internet connection to verify.
What it never clear to the End User is what's being encrypteds and deencrypted, and for what reasons (just that your HDD is going to get trash in the processed).
And What all that being sent encrypted from your computer, a mystery. All at the cost of the end user's OS and Drives.

Bethesda with Doom Eternal tried to slip in Denuvo with a Update patch, there was a recond number of people uninstalling the game on Steam.
Players were even threating to uninstall other Beth games as a form of protest, Beth in that same week 180 their decision and made a update to remove Denuvo.

I think it was a year ago when Jason schreier did the article on how poorly managed Amazon game studios is. They have no idea what they are doing. IIRC they burn 500 mil a year and never have anything to show for it. They might want to take a page from Microsoft's playbook since doing it themselves has been a colossal failure.

I yet to see the products of Microsoft's various acquisitions

Amazon's gaming best move would be to dissolve Amazon gaming.

I've heard of nothing but negatively when it comes to Denuvo on PC...but I'm kind of at a loss as to what Denovo would do to the average consumer of games on console.  Would it effect boot up of games that are bought of the package or make the game run slower?  Being genuinely curious to the cons that Denuvo would bring to console to those who actually buy their games.

I don't know, but I also don't want to be in a position to find out when it does go wrong.
There already been badly made games in the past that would brick a PS4 or a Xbox One.
With the PS4, Anthem will cause the console to reboot, sometimes to the Main Menu sometimes to a error screen and you had to rebuild their PS4's disk database.

Here an article with known Denuvo PC issues
    https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Denuvo

    Issues include
     1. Requires an online connection

     2. Denuvo Anti-Tamper functions in a way that might impact performance
In some instances the anti-tamper protection checks were confirmed to be a part of performance critical functions and had a noticeable impact on gameplay performance on some systems, as in Tekken 7

     3. Causes excessive HDD/SSD reads/writes which degrades the lifespan of storage drives
     4. Server outages will prevent renewals of the offline token for new and some returning players, thereby preventing play until the outage has been solved

Unless I missing something in the article, this isn't something initiated by Nintendo. It looks like a product Irdeto is trying to market to Switch 3rd Party developers.

I take the silence from Nintendo as complicity in this manner.
Also Irdeto at some point had to get a dev kit from Nindy. Nindy are selective who they sell dev kits too.
Sure Irdeto could use one of the many 3rd party tools without paying for a Nintendo Switch Dev kit, but that can and will but them into legal trouble with Nintendo.

Denuvo is already awful on the PC gaming scene, it often not just break games but breaks PCs. At least with the PC, a User can fix the issues. End users can't just fix their console like you can a PC.
Denuvo on a console is only punishing legit Consumers, the hackers, modders and Pirates are just going to bypass the Denuvo garbage like always.

If you make a NFT of a real diamond, and the diamond itself gets destroyed in a fire tomorrow, you still have the same asset.

Because the token still exists and is in limited supply just as before. Nothing has changed.

What NFT is doing to the concept of asset, few understand.

Make a Nothing Burger in the image of something valuable, destroy said valuable object.
What you got left is the Nothing Burger, minus the Burger.

    It's not a hard concept.

The real funny thing about it is that there's more than one Flat Earth model.  Some claim we are surrounded by ice, others that we live in a domed world where space is fake (no really, there are people who also argue space isn't real).

Its actually really crazy. The memes are funny. I don't know how the fuck Chadouken makes it through anything with his brother. Because a lot of the memes are basically saying "Yeah, I know I could take a physics class that explains all this, but math isn't real and neither is bouyancy or aerodynamics (I haven't asked how they feel about air since by extension that would be an issue)".

There was a flat earther that built himself a rocket (even though NASA isn't real) so he could shoot himself up in the air to prove earth is flat. So anyways the point is that he crashed back down and killed himself. I forgot what I was trying to say.

They do it as they don't "trust" authority.
There a whole medical journal article how Flat Earthers have an actual serious case of cognitive dissonance.
There a heated debate about adding "Flat Earthers" to the DSM-5-TR.

They say the name of the move in the game...how are ya'll doing this? lol

I never herd Kamehameha pronounced like that before
Although the original DBZ dub got it wrong compared to both Hawaiian and Japanese Pronunciations (which are the same as they both stress each syllable, and the H isn't silent).

Her "gaf" if we can even classify it as that. It's nothing compared to what goes on in U.S politics. Hence the media shouldn't be even reporting it.

I did mention him by name because he's the current president. But I also mentioned others before him as to not single him out.

But I don't want to ruin the chat with politics. I'll PM you about my beef with Biden. If you want to know.

Some Flat Earther grade Bull Shit here

Well Memphis is obviously a no-go...I'll always advise people to stay as far away from there as possible.

More slang I miss from the good ol' days:

Stout = voluptuous; nice curves...e.g.--- "woooo did you see Lori with the tight leggings on at the game last night! Bruh that ho STOUT as a mu'fucka now! I didn't know she had it like THAT."

Tradin' = lying... of course the latest word I keep seeing online is "cap" for lies.  No, I'm not sure how "trade" got around to being a term for "lying".

Redbone = lighter skin black woman (usually descriptive of a good-looking one)

Paper = money... e.g.-- "...I'm all about gettin' that paper." I prefer this to the other big money term "cheddar".

    Draws = underwear

Dropped a Deuce = one of the best slang phrases for shitting.

Cold = in context of a competitive thing... someone who's extremely good, e.g.-- "haha you have no chance.  That dude is too cold at this game."

Another bonus from my Dad's generation! the JIVE TURKEY (foolish person or someone who's bullshitting ya, or doesn't know what they're talking about).  This term cracked me up as a little kid whenever I heard it... Dad said this one quite often.  I'm pretty sure this term originated in the 70s.

These are old, I heard these terms used 20 years ago
