This game desperately needs a suicide function. There's nothing worse than getting raged in a round you know you're probably going to lose but have to hope the opponent hits you with something strong enough to KO you so as not to waste gauge time.

She's a hard character to be good with. It's like the devs hate her and never give her any good stuff lol. Which is a shame because she's actually one of the coolest characters imo

Yeah, I didn't realize that would reflect either.  I probably should have changed up my boomerang throws instead of repeatedly hitting myself with them, but once I saw you could do that I kinda wanted to throw a bunch just to see how well it works.

There like 2 or 3 matches I didn't get to record for some reason, probably I forgot to save them.

There was an energy outage for like half an hour to 45 mins, so I had to start again to ensure that the upload wasn't corrupted.

I have it on Steam too.  My gaming PC is usually on wi-fi, but I can temporarily hook up an ethernet cable when my kids aren't an issue (late nights mostly), if people ever want to get a PC session going.

The reviews in the SamSho discord have been pretty good so far. One guy was connecting from Europe to SA and said it was pretty smooth, which can be two of the more problematic places to connect to from my experience.

He's had a lot of wack takes so I'm not surprised. The thing is, there are apparently a lot of people who agree with him which absolutely boggles my mind because getting good at a fighting game takes dedication enough but if you don't like the game...?

 

And at the same time, if playerbase number is that important why are we even playing fighting games, which are niche as hell, as opposed to Smash, LoL, or chess?

A lot of people are like that, sadly.

I remember back during the SF4 days that a lot of people said they really hated playing SF4, but stuck with it because it was more populated than other games they enjoyed.
