I have a complete collection of the 92 Marvel Masterpiece set and I used to have somewhere around 90% of those Marvel Metal series cards. The one set I came super close to completing but never did was the 1994 Fleer set that had each card be part of a bigger 3x3 image. I was only missing 2 or 3 cards from that.

Those Fleer Ultra's are sweet, only thing I have a personal issue with is when the art is draw in different styles.
The biggest culprit for this was Marvel Masterpieces 2007.

Usually Masterpieces are fancy artwork done by 1 or 2 people.

Like the very first one done by Joe Jusko in 1992, which I think most of this forum remembers.

My favorite MP set, 1994 done by the Hildebrandt brothers.

Or the super rare and expensive 1996 set done by Vallejo and Bell, where every card look likes a goddamn art piece

Fast forward to 2007, I hear news a new MP set is coming out.. I go and buy a box.

    LOOK AT THIS FUCKING SHIT
Some actual classical art style and other plain jane comic art. I felt robbed.
That Abomination is an actual abomination.
But look how sweet the Baron Zemo looks.

But Marvel Metal... That's just the hypest 90s shit lol

When that issue came out, WWH wasn't even a thing. This was mid-early 90's at the time. I think Firelord was at 9, the Flash at 7 or 6. I might be able to find that issue again

The old folks here told me about having to sit on their knees on corn.

Their faces were like Nam Veteran faces whenever they talked about it. 🤣

Having to pick your own switch sucked, but the worst thing I ever had to do was sit on my knees on a hard wood floor. You think it's no big deal, just a little boring at first, but then it starts to get a bit uncomfortable. After the first hour, you're begging for reasons to get up.

Keep in mind that if you watch Ranma, you'll want to go back and read the manga afterwards. The anime only goes about halfway through the whole of the series and doesn't get to some of the best arcs. Plus some minor details are different between the two.

I have quite a few old retro games. I prefer to collect just older games that meant a lot to me growing up. So far, I have CIB Phantasy Star 1 for the Master System and CIB Phantasy Star 2 and 3 for the Genesis. Other additions include the N64 staples (Mario, Kart, each version of both Zelda games, and of course, Mischief Makers) and a LOT of NES titles. I did have two copies of Kickmaster, but sold one to a guy here in Vegas.

Because I live here and it'd be cheaper for me. Also, I could probably bring enough set ups for us here on this forum.

well, this guy has even more great stuff on his channel....he just earned a new fan...here's some more classic shit that only a few of my generation remember...and yes you had to see this game in person to truly get how cool it looked; pictures and video don't do it justice.  It looked like those characters were really there on the stage, about the size of an action figure...like you could actually pick them up off the stage

This was of course quite expensive to produce, I'm sure...so naturally it costed more than other games at the time.  If I recall it was at least 75 cents to $1.00 instead of the 25 cents people were used to.

Gonna try mobile Genshin Impact first since I'm at work and it's a big ass download on PC. I figure if anything, the mobile version should make the PC game seem better, lol.

Steep looks cool from those screenshots. I never got into the SSX. My jam was SNOWBARD KIDS SON!

Just looking at this reminds me of the good ol' days, and now many dozens of N64 games I must have rented from Hollywood Video...
