    Random thought of the night how much does a character strength or weakness effect your decision on playing them? 

     

     

    Pretty much never. I always look for a character based on their personality/design and if I like their play style, I try to stick with them. 
     

    Of course this means I usually end up with characters that are trash competitively. The number of times I stuck with a good character can probably be counted on one hand.

    Famitsu talks about Strive. Shows a sneak of Ky going Gear in a (new?) overdrive and more of the lobby everyone hates.

    It also states that the lobby with do away with normal ranking. The floors showing the difference of players, so same thing really. 
     

    As long as there is a quick queue and the lobby works better than the beta, I don’t really mind.

    Will he play a role in SF 6  ? Who knows but he was thrown in here too random, even though he got teased in the actual SFV story ending ( credits scene )

    Gill story wise after the cinematic was pretty weird. I assume he would be staying in the shadows for a while longer only for him to appear on G’s very popular livestream. I guess it was to make himself appear affable by attaching himself to a growing star, but I don’t know.

     

    All that aside, I did like what V did with Gill’s character. His portrayal in 3 was very basic and very much ‘I am your god!’ with nothing else I like how they made him seem genuinely kind with some of his win quotes and saving Kolin in her story. I’m interested to see what they do with him in future games.

    I am one of the rare people that actually didn’t mind most of the newcomers for this game. FANG, G, Menat, Kolin, Zeku, and Rashid (I like him, just hate fighting him) are characters I hope to see in a future game. Necali was wasted and Kage was trash from the start so I won’t be sad to see them go. Everyone else is someone I wouldn’t mind but not really excited for.
