When you click an image it will show numerous link options for the image.  You want the one that is called 'DIRECT LINK'.  Simply copy/paste the URL from 'DIRECT LINK' into the forum text box.  No need to use the link button or anything else.  It will auto-embed immediately.
 
This works with any image.  All you need is a clean image URL and you can paste it into the text editor here on the forums.
 
Here is one that I grabbed from Google image search.  Right click the image and choose "Copy image link/Copy image URL" (depending on your browser).  Then simply paste the URL in the text editor:

Also @OPTIMUS124 don't fall for Preppy's nonsense. Him "admitting he was wrong" is his ploy to still stick around SRK. He doesn't understand anything. Dude said some of the foulest things ever said in SRK, then got the admin to ban me over it.

In the future though if people want the ability to upload images instead of link them and some other things I might need donations to offset server costs.  I'm not thinking about any of that just yet though.  Gotta get through this week and finish the software update first!

Btw if you want to @ someone make sure you click their name from the list that appears when you type the @ symbol.  It should turn into a link -- that's how you know the summoning spell has worked.

Yeah, its crazy how much big avatars make a differece.
 
Which is HILARIOUS because it was one of the quality of life things asked for the most when hoping SRK was saved.

Preppy being the culprit definitely explains why d3v believed the backhanded apology was good enough. He probably didn't want to bite the hand that feeds.

I have it but I haven't jumped on yet. 2002 UM got more players on it than both 13 and 14 right now.

Random idea I had that is more in the future, maybe when new fgs drop (whenever that is) we could put out guides on YouTube under the sites name.
 
I know that's a huge ask for someone's time and effort. Just me spitballing on ways to get interest.

This site looks far and away nicer than SRK currently does. Shit, I haven't been logged in here since around the time the site was created. Back when SRK was announced to shut down in 2018. In all honesty, migrating to this site just feels like a natural move for anyone that still uses SRK. The people that own and run SRK obviously don't care about it. I've lost count of how many times over the years that the community has been given false promises as far as improving the site. Many people have always been vocal about what would make the place better and it has always fallen on deaf ears.  Even after agreeing to keep the forums going and making changes, the Cannons never followed through. I'll probably continue lurking SRK with the occasional posts every now and then as always. But as far as Mega Shock is concerned, I say bring on the blackjack and hookers!!
