I made a candy chute. Took me about an hour to build using a few things I had laying around the house and a PVC pipe. 
 

 
I'd call this my first no-plans "build". To make the stand it's just three studs (cut to needed length) and a PVC pipe. I painted the pipe dark brown and the "stand" black with spray paint. The sign is a scrap piece of plywood painted flat black with a chalk marker for text. The Xs and arrows are pieces of duct tape.  My wife and I just hung outside playing Halloween music and greeted the few kids we saw.
 

Anybody doing anything for Halloween tonight? Were taking the boy child to some trunk or treat thing and he's dressed as Baby Yoda 
 

Ok so I decided to end my contract job out in Birmingham. Gave it 30 days. But after doing the math. I was spending more than I was keeping. So it wasn't worth it in the long run. But made a good impression in that short time. The main lead mechanic that the others answer to gave me his direct line and offered me a position should I need it.
 
So I decided to just apply for technician jobs in general here in Atlanta. Among those was Tesla because they said the aviation background is valued. And I just did a phone interview with a recruiter for a company that is contracted to work on Marta's mobility buses for the elderly and disabled. 
 
That one pays 24pr hr, 4/10 schedule. She said she'll send it up to management and they'll be in touch. So this may work out. Might look into getting my ASE cert once this cornavirus pass

Apparently one of the artists from 90's era Capcom did a pretty lengthy interview giving out cool tidbits and stuff , he mainly worked on marvel games. And someone has been translating it if anybody wants to check it out.

I went ahead and tried to document the damage every character gets off their best/longest buffered medium button. My goal was to find who more or less gets the best conversions in footsies. The results aren't perfect but they are good enough for my purposes. Just sharing in case anyone else is curious.

I remember people were acting like Seth really struggled in neutral. I fought a good amount of them and he is a nightmare at times. Seth reminds me of S3 Cammy. Everyone had a pocket Cammy back then. Now everyone has a pocket Seth. Most of the players that moved to PC are playing Seth. The only thing that'll make people drop him are nerfs. I still find it funny how my S3 Cammy was nowhere near as good as my S4 Cammy. Everyone all but dropped her like a hot potato even though she wasn't gutted like many wanted to believe.

My birthday was earlier this week. My wife let me know she got it on Sunday and just arrived. We were supposed to go to Disney for our anniversary but COVID had other plans. The Galaxy's Edge Legacy Vader lightsaber.

The new one certainly feels better, but the older one has a louder speaker and is more responsive. When I tried to see how to make the speaker "better" I went down a rabbit hole. It's surprisingly simple if you've messed around with small electronics. Sometime later in the year I plan to upgrade the older one, build my own saber, and modify the new unit (in that order). I already drew up some plans to customize the case that the new saber came in.

It's the costume. It doesn't look like they fit it properly for her. Mainly, for me, it's the cowl. It looks really off, Ruby Rose's costume seem to actually fit her. She's a nice looking woman....outside of the costume.
