I pulled the trigger on the Razer basilisk hyperspeed. I couldn't say no to $40. Should get it by tomorrow.

I won't be turning on BBCode because it's super old and will soon be patched out of future versions of the forum software.  I don't think there are any BBCode features that can't be done with the current text editor anyway.

If you want to quote posts from other threads, you can already do that:

    1. Click the '+' icon next to the quote button.  This is the multi-quote button.
    2. A quote will be added to your quote list.  You'll see a notification/button in the lower right showing how many quotes you have in your list.

Your quote list follows you throughout the entire site.  When you're ready to use the quotes you've stored you can go to any thread and hit the button.  Your quotes will appear in the text editor for that page.

    I hope this helps!

They did that last generation too.  I can understand why they'd want to show it off.

It's the easiest thing to promote when a new gen comes out.  Show the older gen games running at high framerate.  For people who don't game on PC it's a big deal.  If you don't have a gaming PC then being able to play your favorite game at a high framerate is game-changing.

It's only boring for people who have a powerful rig and have always been playing games at 60fps, and those people aren't the target market anyway.

I don't think this is true.

Again using Gundam as an example -- the arcade game gets new characters added all the time.  Console versions also have a ridiculous amount of DLC in the form of characters, UI skins, announcer voice packs, etc.  There is definitely a ton of support there.

Bootleg one-off clones might not get support but the big name arena fighters get just as much if not more support than games like Street Fighter or Tekken.

Upgraded to a Ryzen 5 3600 today from a 1600. Now I'm finally starting to get the performance I wanted. This combined with a RX 580 has been slamming everything at max settings. Even stuff like Avengers and Hunt: Showdown. I really wanna see Arkham Knight on this thing.

I also got an additional fan and 2 more terabytes of HDD, but apparently there's not a single fucking store in my city that's selling SATA power cables so I gotta wait a day or two to even use it while Amazon brings me the goods.

I think this build will keep me very happy for a good and long time until I decide to get a 3080 or whatever AMD is cooking up. 👍

Nigga, i am not arguing that they arent, i am saying that i PERSONALLY dont consider them Arena Fighters since there are enough distinctions on how they feel that for me are more like action games than arena fighters.

Is something about the gameplay loop, and how you approach them.
They are not just mindless hit attack button and sometimes special button.

It is why i said, i personally instead, saying outright they arent.

Going arena fighter isn't the 'cheap and easy' route.  The reason they make arena fighters is because that game style is more popular.

Gundam vs Gundam is easily the most popular competitive game in arcades, and has been for years now.  All those anime arena fighters being made are basically trying to be Gundam clones.  The traditional 2D/3D fighter is not as popular as it once was.

The only reason arena fighters are not as popular in the west is because we no longer have arcades and didn't get as much exposure to that gameplay style.  It's also much harder to find enough people to play proper matches at home on console because a lot of arena fighters are team-based games.  In the west arena fighters are niche but in Asia they're mainstream.

HDDs have filthy moving parts and high failure rates. SSDs are pure and will never betray you.

...of course until the NAND cells start to degrade and the whole drive dies abruptly many years down the line but don't worry about that.  🙂

EDIT: Never mind...I went into the game and ripped the sprites myself.
