I'm just catching up on everything after working all day, but it sure seems like this beta is...shockingly functional given how ambitiously packed with features this game is trying to be.

I can't wait to play this goddamn game.

The vast majority of console buyers are the type of person who buys like 2 or 3 games a year.  They have no idea about anything other than "4k is good, look at those graphics".  The type of person who buys a 4k television because they heard it's good -- but doesn't even know what 4k is.

Haven't played a whole lot of SFV lately, with all of the SF6 hype, but I played a little yesterday.

Goddamn I love SFV Rose. I hope she comes back in 6, a little bit sooner than the final DLC season.

Yeah I know they just showed off four new characters but I think another character trailer would be really neat right about now, Capcom pls thx.

As annoying as that Hisen Kick move looks, I feel like it would be pretty easy to just start parrying after the initial kick to stop the crossup/same side guess. From there it depends on who has advantage after someone parries a jump-in attack, I guess.

I'd love to see Poison in SF6 as well, I think combining her with the new aesthetic of the game would be a great fit.

And make her VT2 command grabs part of her base move list!

Renaming this thread right before probably the biggest Street Fighter game ever releases seems a silly idea.

I'm here to officially state I disagree with anyone complaining about Cammy's redesign.

I'm also eager to see Lily. Her artwork here definitely implies she'll be like a li'l T Hawk, Condor Diving at people. If she actually has a command grab too, I'm sold.

I'm excited to see Dee Jay in action. Seeing how much they've spiced up older characters, I'm sure they'll be able to loads of cool new stuff with him.

Yeah, it was great. But you've got people like my friends who have played SF regularly with me since 09 and don't even know what delay teching is. The stuff I'm seeing in this SF6 training room seems a lot more tangible for less experienced players.

This training room already shits all over any other training modes I've seen in other fighting games. It's gonna be great for more casual players too. Time and again I've tried to tell my more casual friends how to use the record feature to  practice how to beat certain moves, but they never even tried it. Now if they're having issues with something like Drive Impact, I can just tell them to do the Drive Impact defense training.

Kimberly has a cute detail. When she uses her level 3, the music she’s listening to overrides whatever theme is playing.

According to Max, it isn't just cosmetic. After she uses her level 3 she gets a movement and attack buff. It lasts a really long time and persists through rounds.

I wonder what parrying a Blanka ball looks like. Even if he still bounces away you might be able to cancel the parry into Drive Rush for a punish.

I know a lot of people disagree, but watching true Dhalsim masters in both SF4 and V is really impressive. If he was "broken" like some people claim, there'd be tons of Dhalsim mains. But he has a high skill ceiling and is difficult to play at low levels. Plus he just keeps getting flashier with every game, so I'm glad to see him.

Blanka not so much. Green cancer. Of no value to anyone.

Shit, I haven't played SC6 in like three years, lol. Don't have it installed on my console atm. Maybe I'll dust it off over the weekend and try to remember how to play.

I bought the version that has the base game plus both DLC packs on sale for $40 a few months back. Worst part of that is now the game is free on PSN and I think my favorite character is on the base roster anyway. 😪

But whatever. I like to platinum games when I can, and you literally can't platinum this one unless you buy all the DLC characters.

That paint teleport Kim has looks super fun. It looks like she was dodging through attacks with it.
