I'm glad Beau DeMayo is the showrunner of X-men '97.

I finished Sonic Prime and I enjoyed it. The show definitely has pacing issues. Like Sonic time in the jungle Green Hill had no business being a two parter. It was a single episode stretched to two.

It seems obvious to me that Sonic character development will lead to him to cherish what he has. The flashbacks made it clear he took what he had for granted.

I don't like Rouge being in team Sonic. It's not a good fit. If they wanted a second female character for the crew they could have used Cream (Does Sega hate her? She hasn't appeared in anything since Generations), Sticks (Frontiers confirmed she exists in the mainline games), or Blaze. Any one of them would have been better choice than Rouge.

I'm a big fan of nine. The mechanical tails are amazing to see in motion and makes his badassery look effortless. I would accept him as canon tails.

New Yoke is definitely the most interesting space this show visits. I get the vibe of it being Sonic Forces done right. Speaking of, does the NPCs in New Yoke look like they were designed using Forces character creator. I find the chaos council disappointing. Like what's the point of having five Eggmans when they are all the same character?  The quirks ain't enough to differentiate them.

I loved what little we saw of Shadow. He takes absolutely no shit. I can watch him sucker punch this sonic all day lol

I have to question what was the point of rusty rose malfunctioning when seeing black rose when it lead to nothing.

DeMayo strikes me as the type as Matt Youngberg and Francisco Angones, the people behind the Ducktales 2017.
You can see on their work that they have a respect and understanding of the properties they have adapted.
Pursuing a balance between bringing both new ideas, but also trying to keep what made great the works they are adapting, respecting the themes.

    MK Fatality Thoughts:

    MK4 (1997)

IMO, MK4 fatalities improved somewhat. I'd say 4 and MK5 are both "solid".
With the move to polygons, many of them were redos of klassic ones but in 3d.

I did like how the life bars lifted out out of the way when the move is performed.

    I consider this "darkly comic"

    Runner up.

A proper "animality" for the appropriate kharacter.
I feel this is an underrated finisher.

Im not sure which is the "worst" fatality in MK4.
I guess I'll put Tanya's triple neck breaker.

No blood, and the enemy is essentially dead after the first action , so the other breaks are mostly pointless.

Given the two people referenced, yes. They both worked The Witcher for Netflix. One wrote a faithful adaptation of the material Nightmare of the Wolf and was also a writer on the live action series (Beau DeMayo.) The other is the showrunner (Lauren Hissrich) for the live action series that isn't faithful to the source material.

This isn't randos speculating on the situation. It's two people with direct knowledge of the situation. They have conflicting takes on the situation. Yet we can look at their work and determine if they are being truthful. Miss Hissrich says what Beau says isn't true. Yet the show she's running says otherwise. Before Beau's interview there were complaints about the adaption after Season 2. Look at any of Cavill's interviews. He's very diplomatic but it's clear the show was diverging too far for the source material for his liking.

Men really need to be better and stop getting entangled with women who live for drama.  Getting rid of my social media accounts has overall been the best decision I have ever made as far as personal happiness goes.

I only had the chance to play the beta a bit on Friday (hopefully I can put in an hour or two tonight as well, but idk).

anyways, the game is rock solid from what I’ve played. Looks, sounds, and feels great. This actually feels like the next iteration of Street Fighter - like a generation leap that I did not feel in V.

I also appreciate how it’s easy enough to navigate the battle hub on stick. I was worried I was going to swapping controllers constantly.

but if I hear “a player is on a win streak!” One more time, I’m going to crack

Congrats on the new car! Definitely try to temper your driving when around others. I’ve learned to never overestimate my abilities and never underestimate the stupidity of other drivers. Honestly, the thing I appreciate the most on my car are the improved brakes. However even that can get you into trouble as other cars can’t brake as well.

I've been using Lion's Mane every day since March. Sleep has been deeper. I wake up more rested because of it with much less brain fog throughout the day. My dreams became noticeably more vivid from the first week.
