That's interesting. Was it too starchy?

A little, but I found the original recipe (from the 1800s) - the wholemeal bread listed was really thin and crispy stuff. It's also recommended to add cumin or curry powder, along with salt and pepper. If I was ever really (really) down on my luck, I'd remember it.

(It also helped that I'd just got home from my brother's birthday pub session)

  2. I suspect the input reader (and/or output) will be locked to 60fps timing, even if the visuals won't be. I also suspect (this is barely educated guesswork, but in my head it makes sense) that's how games like Bloodborne and Dragon's Dogma did it - I recall talk of them recreating the "feel" of controlling at 60FPS at 30FPS (or below), and Bloodborne really did feel snappy.

  3. From The Verge:

'We can’t dive into the specifics in terms of what you can actually do in World Tour, but what we can say is there will be a narrative, and going through that story will allow the player to learn how to do different things,” he explains. “Beyond that, there will be moments where players can really learn who these legacy characters are, whether it’s Ryu or Chun-Li.'

I gamed like hell on this. Alpha Anthology, KOF, DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi, Super DBZ, Resident Evil, Mega Man X, Final Fantasy, Dynasty Warriors, and so many others.

Coincidentally, I just saw Retro-bit are gonna release this in October.

Seems officially made with Sega, and $20. I'm kinda tempted, if they wind up available over here - original was great. Would be good to mess around on older games and emulators.
Edit: Wait, seems they already do one more in line with the original one.  I'll just get that.

Y'all hoes ain't loyal! Out here changing names like @Mattatsuchanges mains! Shame on you!

I did wonder about JustPlusFrames but wondered what the microtransaction cost Bee would levy when I wanted to change a crap joke back

I'm glad you're loyal to Blanka though, Volt

[side note: How often has Matt changed names? 🤣]

And if I would consider it. They should had been more of just a slight damage boost with slight bigger hitbox instead of changing the speed. Because sonic boom speeds are integral to Guile's gameplan. Correct me if I am wrong

I've been thinking about this a bit. Sonic boom is a charge move. It should - in my biased opinion - be plus on hit, to the point it can lead to combos (i.e. sweep midscreen)

Not being able to land even a c.lp (though the range on that looks insane, a good sign) after landing one feels very weird. But, I'm well used to SF changing and fucking around with things between games. I'll definitely find something to enjoy.

Edit: When I play Guiie in 4 or 5, I don't think of him as a pure zoner, so much as a walking wall that slowly gets people to the corner (the corner is why I REALLY loved booms being plus on block) - given SF6's apparently insane corner danger, alongside permanently blocking being a liability, I wonder if his toolset has been tweaked to help that.

so maybe this could be the developers way of trying to push the envelope while keeping something that feels familiar.

I think this is the case with Luke's charged flash knuckles too. I wonder if the window for getting those to combo will be similar to the window for a perfect boom, maybe? Certainly not impossible, but will repay time spent practising.
