I can't get into the argument of SF4 good or bad gameplay wise, as it's beyond my paygrade - but through that game I made 5 "RL" friends, and brought three buddies into fighting games - and we had a fucktonne of laughs on the way. I'm as casual as they come; I get nervous playing strangers even, but hell. I'm glad the game existed. And had a blast playing it. As Darc says though, it's all subjective, and as I said, to reiterate, I'm nobody to judge the gameplay systems "objectively" - we just had a tonne of fun. 

Just nabbed the GG bundle on humblebundle for XX ACCENT CORE PLUS R, I have Rev and Rev2 on PS4, so if anybody wants Steam keys for the other stuff, lemme know. 

I know that HumbleBundle once got a bit freaky with sharing codes a bit back, but seem to be able to gift keys. 

Games from this list, other than the one I nicked.

Even the group draw yesterday was entertaining - I usually cba with filler fluff like that, but it was fucking superb. F-Word especially, but the rest were great.

Edit: F-Word and Ryan Hart as commentators is as good as I've heard.

Kumite was far better than I thought it'd be, I was excited at first for an offline event, then wondered about no crowd. Think they did a superb job at getting the commentators and competitors being the crowd, really, really enjoyed it.

There was, once. @Skort might know - he's keen on the mods, if his streams are anything to go by.

I've finally fixed up my PC for gaming again, bought CE - does anybody know if the mod for reducing load time still works? Last I heard Capcom were reportedly getting sniffy about mods and such, and have seen a few posts on Steam about if it does/doesn't work.

Edit: Seems maybe likely this is related to that, this new "Esports Certification Institute" charges $400 for the honour of sitting one of their exams, and some of the strange folk asking to be blocked by him are saying they'd saved $400. Other than that though, no bloody idea.

I think this is where the curation comes into play. Twitter has a tonne of trash, and one way or another someone's going to have to sort through and archive the stuff worth keeping.

Right now, what I did was basically steal tech en masse and post it on the SFV Lounge Discord on individual character channels.

This is imperfect, and needs wider adoption rates. There's a kernel of an idea here though, I think.

These battle lounges would be great, streamed - once was a plan to stream SRK lounges. Think showing these with discord chat audio too could help, or put more folk off?

That's the VS ProblemX was going with, for its insane meter build up rather than the de/buffs, especially when she's playing her zoning game. Less influentially, that's the one I tend to prefer, too.
