ah, so it makes sense-- I got curious and looked up some info on that show "Passions" and the creator James E. Reilly is the same guy that came up with the infamous "Days of Our Lives" storyline where Dr. Marlena Evans was possessed by Satan

Unfortunately he passed away in 2008 though...

 

Interesting bit of American pop culture history there... when that "possessed" story was on, that happened to be the same time that the OJ Simpson murder trial was going on, so "Days" was occasionally interrupted by that.

 

Anyway, they brought him back on to write again for Days and he gave us another wild one I loved with the "Salem Stalker" storyline, where major characters were being murdered by a mystery killer which was someone all of them knew.......sheeeitttt, I remember tuning in for that on a regular basis as well... that was some damn good stuff.  It was unfortunate that the "deaths" turned out to just be disappearances though, with Marlena being revealed as having been mind-controlled into being the "killer".  Reilly went back to mainly writing Passions after this.

In my "real" playthrough, I never bumped in to Astarion (picked him up during Early Access plays though), had a glitch that kept me from rezzing Lae'zel in an early fight so I left her for dead, and made some plotline decisions that ended up with Halsin perma dead.

 

Oh, and there's an early game mini-boss who's a joinable companion if you play through evilly enough that technically I killed too.  Well, gravity killed her- not my fault that wooden footbridge she was standing on wasn't up to code.

Well you managed to merc Shadowheart. Most people, in my experience may off Lae'zel or Astarion, on the first try but Shadowheart was an interesting one for you. I tend to try to keep all the party members I can in RPGs. So I reloaded my file after....

I staked Astarion. Motherfucker tried to bite me. Although, I wanted to see what would happen if you let Astarion bite you and dont tell him to stop. He'll kill you and say "Oh there has been a terrible accident!" I rez'd my PC and confronted him. Shit was hilarious.

Edit: Honestly just play the game however you want. There is so much replay value it isn't funny. BG3 is one of those games you can play for years and still find something new. It reminds me of my time with Mass Effect 1 except their are even MORE options at my finger tips.

Oh yeah, Hell finally froze over with this one.  

 

Yep, I was one of those people that killed Lae'zel.  I gave Shadowheart her outfit because it looks sexier...definitely an upgrade over Shadow's original outfit.  ...and now I'm realizing, it would've been interesting if I had that "speak with the dead" spell when I killed Lae....just to see what she might have to say about the situation.  My next character isn't at the same point yet so I might actually let her remain in the party on that one.... then again the Tiefling woman also looks better than Lae so... yeahhhh it's not looking good for Lae'zel staying around on that character file either... my characters are only going to have fine bitches in the crew. 🤣

That's how good the game is man. I find it ironic that after people were saying turn based games don't sell BG3 drops, it's a complex turn based game, and it sells by the droves. 

 

@MillionXLae'zel is I don't give a fuck personified. She's blunt as hell and doesn't care about your feelings. She also "takes" what she wants 👀Karlach is honest as well but she's nice about it. Lae'zel couldn't care less.

Zatal has been trying for weeks to create new accounts and get back in here, despite being banned.  He also keeps jumping in the Discord to post rants about how he's done nothing wrong and how everyone who wants him gone is 'weak'.

 

This whiny behavior proves he's biggest bitch here and I don't feel like dealing with it.  He's banned forever.

I got banned from SRK for about 1 year or something. Or maybe my account got deleted from the multiple server moves. Had to create another one. Is Zatalcon the same as Cisco?

I was talking action movies with a friend the other day, and we brought up the old classics, and the newer-era "Expendables"....and of course it hit me that a new sidescrolling beatemup/shootemup game would be such a great thing--- I already know about BroForce and I have it on Switch... basically I'd like a new version of that but with much better graphics, like at least on par with Streets of Rage 4 visuals.  

 

Man, imagine if legal/copyright issues weren't a problem and we could have as many icons in something like that as possible--- various Stallone and Schwarzenegger characters like Dutch (and the other guys from Predator), John Matrix, the character from Cobra, etc.... imagine you got Tango & Cash in there...Riggs & Murtaugh, Action Jackson, Jet Li, Bruce Lee, Dolph Lundgren, Black Dynamite, Dalton from Road House, Bolo and Jean Claude's characters from Bloodsport, TimeCop and Universal Soldier, even lesser-known obscure shit like "The Perfect Weapon" Jeff Speakman, etc.  The crazier the size of that roster is the better, of course.

Yes, I  beat it once with friends and once in a solo game. 

 

And don't worry about missing content. You won't get to do everything in a single playthrough by design. Things you do in act 1 can change things in act 3. Be evil. Be good. It's a buffet.

Knocked something off my bucket list. Got to see Dave Chapelle live. That man is the 🐐. He's way funnier on tour as opposed to his TV specials. Glimpses of classic Chappelle in there. And the opening acts were hella funny too

 

I will say, if you part of the LGBT and offend easily, the show aint for you. He goes in on everybody, nobody is safe. Lmao

 

A wonderful experience tho, I recommend you all catch one of his shows if you can and you're a fan of comedy. You wont be disappointed

When did people become soft? Russel Peters and his jokes about various ethnicities and such would get people offended nowadays. The people who are n their early 20s now wouldn't be able to handle OG SRK or Higher Voltage HerV. You guys remember HerV? Made SRK tame.

Niiiiice, whoever that guy was on the date with Boebert, it looks like he got a GOOD feel on that right titty, as it appears she giggled and looked around like probably saying "stop, someone will see us..." with a sly smile.... I wonder how quickly he got in her cute little ass  later.  ...but yeah as a public figure you should definitely be smarter than that....it wouldn't be a big deal if both of them were random people no one knows about.

 

I wonder what's up with that former Nashville mayor lately... in a way this reminded me of that time some years ago when she was caught having a hot affair with some dude, and there was actual footage (security cam across the way) of her regular meet-ups with a guy (not her husband, of course) by a cemetery if I recall.  Most would agree she wasn't half bad either...especially compared to what you'd expect a female politician to look like.

Can someone give me the 411 about this Zataran poster and why there are topics about him? What is the big deal with him because I don't see anything other than another commoner. Why has everyone been crying about this guy? what has he done that made his ban the talk of the forum? 

I went to the discord server (only because I found out that HE made an appearance over there) and all I saw was a bunch of people getting upset over his comments against eating dogs. Posters like that guy are what wins threads over here?

I wouldn't say ppl are soft but Dave made it a point in the show that they tried to bury him after the LGBT and specifically trans jokes. It was some ppl NOT happy about it😆
