    Maybe that was a hot take but to me in games like SF, Tekken, Mortal Kombat she's up there near the top.   Maybe not if we're comparing this to ArcSys games.... but those games kind of feel like there own thing when it comes to graphics.

    A.K.I has the best animations I've probably ever seen in a fighting game. Menat had the title until now.

    Despite the existence of JP and Ken, I think SF6 is great.  First season of SFV had its issues and even SF4 a personal favourite of mine - the vanilla version was fun but kind of broken.  SF6 is just a really solid game right out of the gate.  

     

    I'm actually looking forward to a balance patch though.  The new characters outside of JP are all underpowered.

    Rashid too. All the Rashid mains stopped posting tech on twitter about a week into his launch.  Now I know why, they were cooking cuz we got guys like Gachikun putting round start tornados on screen and putting people into Killer Instinct combos until they die.

    SFL Japan has Dee Jay all over the place.  He's tied with JP and Luke for most played.  He's definitely hiding in the shadows of JP and Ken - think there's a chance he could avoid the nerf bat and emerge as top 1.

    Ken is kind of like Luke in that they're good for bad reasons. And TBH its kinda funny.

    And if you removed Ken from the game than a lot of people would be complaining about Luke since he's also just a way better version of Ryu.  Once they add Akuma there will be three shotos straight up making Ryu obsolete.  

     

    It's funny though because I don't think Ryu is bad at all.   He's way better than his SFV version in my opinion, he just lacks some of the top tier cheap stuff.  As a Jamie main, the Ryu matchup is hard.

    Probably not but it's definitely something that's going to be around and be controversial.  We're at the beginning of SF6 and someone already placed top 8 with Modern controls at EVO.  That's a far cry from what people were saying a few months ago that pro's won't ever be touching modern controls lol.

    I mean Fatal Fury is looking pretty good.  It's my backup plan if Modern takes over SF 😂

    Yeah, Haitani was definitely taking advantage of this by doing motions for full damage combos and then using the simplified inputs for reactions.  If you pick Modern you shouldn't get the best of both worlds.

Not sure if you guys saw the Nemo video but it basically explains how to punish people who constantly fish for perfect parry.  People tapping parry in the corner open themselves up to DI because there's 29 frames of guard state after using parry where the player cannot DI.  If the cornered player senses DI coming they can Drive Rush from parry into DI but the other player can counter this by using long ranged crouching normals.

    He loses to characters with fireballs because he has no decent way through them besides ex breakdance and that's a guess not a reaction.  Unfortunately most of the top tier are projectile characters that can either zone him pretty well or walk behind slow fireballs.   I think he even loses to Ryu.  

     

    His best matchups are against non projectile characters.  I think he fights Cammy and Marisa well and also maybe Dhalsim.
