Idk I feel there almost aren't any DPs in this game at all.   If you want iframes you need meter, and even then most level ones do that job.  What is the point of a nonmetered DP in this game? You want a big damage aa you're better off with challenging with a rising normal that causes Float, and go into a combo. See Ryu j.MP

Having a DP in this game is extremely weak when the whole cast can Parry away any mixups.

It's clear they only want you to use a DP for anti-air.

I still sometimes steal hits with random light DP using Ryu in neutral though.

Real fgc plays on snack boxes now, better pony up that 300$ for razer kitsune

I'm going to have to since snack boxes are unobtainable.

Making hitboxes isn't difficult!  Seems like the scene as a whole has lost a lot of the stick building knowledge it used to have.  Too many people don't know how to build and only know how to buy.

So he's banned from the site?

For now, yes.  Vote results not looking good for him.  If enough of you want to reverse his ban then I will reconsider.

Has he actually broken any rules in an observable way or is it more that people just dont' like him? Because if it's a latter, it's kind of weak that a bunch of 30 & 40 year old dudes are that triggered by a shitposter who isn't breaking any rules on a board with an ignore function.

One of the main rules of this place is that people should respect each other.  Some people have asked him to leave them out of his shit and he never does.  Whether you love or hate his humor I'm sure most people would agree that if someone asks nicely to be left alone it should be honored.

I asked earlier. @misterBee hasn't said what he did exactly

A lot of people don't appreciate his posts.  I get a lot of reports about him.

This isn't the first time he's been banned iirc.  Since he refuses to change his ways or turn it down to a level that others can deal with I was forced to ban him.

  5. Decide whether he lives or dies.

    UPDATE:

Zatal has been trying for weeks to create new accounts and get back in here, despite being banned.  He also keeps jumping in the Discord to post rants about how he's done nothing wrong and how everyone who wants him gone is 'weak'.

This whiny behavior proves he's the biggest bitch here and I don't feel like dealing with it.  He's banned forever.

Looool I been waiting on you to come out the wood work yelling at the clouds about this. Double tapping dash is not hard, but single tapping a button feels infinitely better.

I'd have preferred they made it easier to do raw drive rush instead of the canceled one.

Raw drive rush also includes forward dash inputs and is way more awkward, even using the shortcut.  Modern mode already has a macro for it by default iirc so if anything that's the one that should have gotten a new shortcut.

In my case it's a bit of a unique and weird situation because I use the analogue stick on the controller but switch to the D-Pad for dashes. I think it's self-explanatory why the motion irks me a bit if it's as frequently used as in SF6. But I also think it's just a bit of an uncomfortable input mid-combo.

In that particular case I wonder if it's really a failing of the controller as an input device.

On stick/keyboard/hitbox normal dashes are trivial, but I can see how it'd be annoying if you rely on analog stick most of the time and need to swap to the dpad.

  8. I've been confused about the recent phenomenon of people having trouble inputting dash motions.

I feel like I only started hearing about it when DBFZ got big...maybe because a lot of people new to fgs just got used to having a dash macro all the time?

For some games dash macros absolutely help, but it's not like tapping forward twice is actually hard...is it?

    👴

I liked the fact that you can DR cancel from a normal with a basic input.  Felt nice and natural to me.  If anything, the weirder input is doing raw DR: (foward, parry + forward) / (parry > forward forward) both feel a little awkward.  Wish they had simplified that instead.
