Dude, after becoming a dad my fashion interests took a huge nosedive 😂 I wear cargo shorts or jeans, a casual button up shirt untucked, and a baseball cap. I dress for comfort, not style, with the exception of these bad boys:

My brother is a bit of a sneaker head but has incredibly wide, flat feet. He swears  by the Monarchs  when his feet issues act up lol

    Also, ha

How much longer will the politicians keep blaming *everything* and *anything* except for the actual root cause of the problem that creates the shootings in the first place? How many more dozens. hundreds of innocent people need to perish in gunfire across various mass gatherings (school classes or otherwise) before th government cracks on this shit down?

If they didn't do anything after Sandy Hook, where young children got gunned down, they won't do anything ever.

My favorite of all time was this place "Fuddruckers", which sadly doesn't exist here anymore.

Though the corporate owners folded, eliminated the brand, and closed locations nationwide, the South Florida locations and rights(?) were purchased by a single family for private ownership, and they are still allowed to operate those stores as Fuddruckers. Been to one of them recently—busy with people coming in and out the entire time I was there. Awesome as ever.  Meat is properly seasoned and tasty and their offerings of big burgers like the 1 pounder aren't a gimmick to sell shitty meat. Buns are delicious, buttered and toasted. Fresh toppings and the godlike cheese sauce for fries at the toppings bar still there. Pretty sure the owning family were og fans of Fuddruckers and knew what made them good and strive to maintain that quality.

  4. Knew I heard Olympic athletes walking out to Final Fantasy and Chrono Trigger music! Dope arrangements, too. Found a song list of game music worked into the Olympics opening medley. Of course there was Soul Calibur worked in there.

    EDIT: Translated list here

No, but I know someone who has cooked with one. The result was quite awesome!

Right now I am trying to perfect the basics with some really solid reading material:

Those are like the best books about food and cooking out right now.  Great choices.  Salt Fat Acid Heat had a Netflix thing you should check out.  And I've followed J Kenji Alt Lopez for years on serious eats--excellent, intelligent, scientific reasoning on cooking procedure and busts a number of cooking myths perpetuated by pro chefs  for years.  Definitely must-have cooking resources.

If you want to explore baking, I highly, highly recommend Stella Parks' BraveTart.  She's also a major player for Serious Eats alongside Kenji, and they've worked together on a number of pieces for the site.  Again, provides solid reasoning behind ingredient choice and procedure instead of "cuz the great chefs of the past did it" that so many other cookbooks do.
