This isn't that new, imo--- I'll blame my own Gen-X as the start of the downfall, tbh.... even while I was in school, the difference between my peers and the class that was just a few years older (like the graduating class of 1993 and older) was noticeable.  It was like comparing a civilized group of people to few rooms filled with savage "Deebo" fools that are destined to be little more than an embarrassing blight on society.  It would only get progressively worse with each new generation that followed Gen-X, imo.

 

Every kid is gangsta until they disrespect an adult that doesn't value their life and has no chill.

Getting everything I need to send off to the Coast Guard  for my MMC is a pain in my ass. Everytime I think I'm ready its still more I have to do.

 

Now I got remember exactly when I got arrested like in 2012 and I kinda need this info by the weekend. Shit happened over 10 years ago, I was bout to guestimate but then they'd say I'm lying and delay my app. They're gonna do a background check regardless so I don't see why they need minute details

 

I won't be letting my credential expire anymore, I refuse to have to go threw those classes and this criminal history BS again 🤦🏾‍♂️😒

Every adults a gangster till they get up against that teen that lifts weights, and works, and plays sports while also not giving a fuck about anyone. 

 

I knew plenty of teens, including myself, that could rock the fuck out of the majority of adults. 

 

Adults have a weird sense of invincibility when it comes to people they deem to still be children. Same funny assumption with trans people. "If I see a trans woman go into the women's room ima beat the shit out of them!!"  Bro they are biologically men to, why are you assuming it's gonna be a free ass whoopin just cuz they wore a skirt? 

 

But sure antagonize a teenager, someone with nothing but free time and strong emotions. Brilliant idea lol.

A friend of mine, back in his mid 20s, saw a bunch of ~12 year olds bullying some smaller kids by taking their ball away.  Stopped and said something to them about it.

 

So the 12 year olds collectively knocked him to the ground, held him down, and one of them smashed his face with a cinder block.  Spent like a week in the hospital, metal plates now holding the front of his skull together.

Funny enough a similar thing happened to a PE Tecaher in one of the schools here in El Paso. The guy got jumped by 6th graders. At first I thought it was a bullshit story...until I ran into a teacher who was friends with the guy. The kids who did the ambush were the children of drug dealers so 🤷‍♂️ .

 

In general a lot of people want to underplay how much damage teens can physically do.  "Its a high school kid". No, its a young man who is in prime physical ability while being mentally incapable of thinking long term. Fuck are most people going to do with some of these Two-A-Day football player "kids" who are 6 feet and 200 lbs? You're gonna hold the shit out of that.

This is my third, fourth, or millionth reminder, but: if you have a relative nearing the end of life and you will be expected to handle their shit, please make sure you discuss a will and what they may owe in taxes with them. Get those affairs in order. I discussed nothing with my mom, and it's like a new layer of suck every time I progress on handling her estate.

 

I'm finding she may have owed enough tax to make me avoid moving into her house. I'm estimating numbers now, but if I'm right, it could literally wreck my savings if I went through with it. The house needs big repairs on top of that too. Get this shit in order people, because you do not want to be in this position. I'm legit torn on if I want to go forward with this and maybe lose 30k+ getting everything done or just continue renting.

Most people really need to spend the time and money to do estate planning.  It's such a bitch to deal with probate and the state after someone dies.  Also it's important to have some financial control of older family members accounts, you'd be shocked by the level of fuckery some of these scammers are willing to pull to get money.  My Grandfather had someone pretend to be me ask him for bail money.  He told the guy I'd never call him if I was in jail because he'd taught me a sense of shame, lol.

My experience is different from yours growing up then. I've seen those very teens you're talking about. Step to grown men on the block with that disrespect. Feelin themselves. Only to literally have their potential careers ended. Because the teen was ready for a fight. While the adult was ready to do real damage.

 

All that working out and sh1t means nothing. When you're up against someone that has no chill, wont hesitate to commit real violence, and knows how to fight. And most teens aren't prepared for that kind of fight.

 

It ain't about a sense of invincibility or whatever. It's about how real sh1t can get. When you aren't stepping to a grown man that is a teacher that gives a damn about you and their own career. And instead are stepping to a grown man, that is not only willing to match your energy. But go well beyond it because they don't give a fuck about your life and future. 

 

That's why I specified an adult that doesn't care about that kid's life and has no restraint. The average adult who ain't about that violence and lives a sedintary life? Yeah a strong teen who works out regularly can take him. An adult man that works out, can fight, and has no issue with dealing real damage? I know as a kid I got into tons of fights in Pakistan with adults. The thing is, I was a little fitter and a little bigger thanks to living a majority of the year in the UAE and playing sports. You best believe I was feeling myself after kicking an adult's ass. But I will never forget the day an old man slipped my jab and rocked the puberty out of me with a counter strike. Since then I have not willingly fought an adult.

I grew up in Bronx, NY 

 

Some of the older dudes on the block were about that life. Some were law abiding, but use to be about that life and still got those instincts. Majority were working men. 

 

But what they all had in common? They kept themselves strong and fight ready. No one wanted to be seen and singled out as weak and could be stepped to any kind of way. And had to be ready for anyone.

 

So that's why I saw most teens who bucked up to adults. Because they had some size on them get folded bad. Dudes understood like you said. Teens can do damage. So you got dealt with like a grown man

 

Some would just do enough to make the youngin realize he bit off more than he can chew. And wanna stand down. Others took public disrespect to heart and would make an example out of you.
