Lil Wayne should have been Morbius. He wouldn't need any makeup. That nigga scary as hell.

Ppl legit thing Wayne half dead ass gonna steamroll Jay Z. Even IF Wayne had the hits to match, Jay will still outperform him by default cuz Wayne gonna be high as hell and picking the worst songs 😂

Honestly, Busta Rhymes is a better match up for Jay

so i just found out the teacher, mary kay letourneau, who banged her 13 year old student back in the 90s, died last year.

died of cancer.

then i started thinking about the ridiculousness of it all.

like most of us, lost our virginity before 18 years of age. wtf do i care if a 13 year old lost their cherry when everyone loses it in their teens any ole way.

then i started thinking about how crazy it is that in this country.

the usa army can draft you, send you to die in a war when youre 18, but you cant buy beer or cigs till 21.

army: " so, son, you must kill these taliban insurgents today. you will kill, and most likely die."

18 year old: "ok. can i buy a beer and a pack of smokes before i die for my country?"

army: "no. not old enough."

18 year old: "can i wear a necklace of carved off afghani ears?"

army: "yes. youre old enough for that."

society is a detestable joke. i swear. its a mad world we live in. its like logic is an allergy.

It's about a person of power taking advantage of an impressionable youth.  It's also about when is the line OK. So 13 is om? How about 10...7..3.

All things that have happened. To me none of those are OK. Kids are still developing and growing. They literally don't know anything and can't be held truly responsible for those actions at that age. Especially if pregnancy happened.. He can't even have a fucking job yet.

We're not even talking about kids with kids.. We're talking about a full grown adult here. Some one with authority, control and power manipulating the relationship she has with her student for sex. It sure ain't because they have a fucking lot in common.

"oh that's crazy.. I also liked to color when I was 7"

Those two were together as a couple for a long time too. She had multiple children of his until they divorced some time in the mid 2010s.

The other just insane teacher/student story was this broad who got pregnant by a middle schooler, then started going to his family gatherings as his girlfriend. AND the family was cool with it.... 😶

Edit: There we go, found the article:

it shocks the hell out of me that this woman Kim Potter was found guilty.  I would've bet money on her just kinda getting away with it (with inevitable riots kicking off a few minutes later, of course)....yeah, mostly just because this is a woman we're talking about....y'know, those people that can often get away with outright murder if they want. (*e.g.--like a certain TN woman that woke her husband up with bullets one day, killing him.  Where is she today?  Oh yeah, she's out living a normal life just like an ordinary law-abiding citizen....as if that just didn't happen.  She even got an interview with Oprah after the verdict, of course.  It stands out forever as one of the most ridiculous things I've ever seen happen.)

Ion is showing Chicago PD; probably the usual for that channel...I'm getting hooked on it easily....  I didn't notice this cutie until now Marina:

https://www.instagram.com/MarinaSqu/

yeahhhhh I'd eat that.

Anyway, it's that show with the dude that sounds like he regularly gargled with cigarettes, gravel and sand for the past 20 years.  It's a cool voice though... I don't think there's another actor at the moment that sounds like that.

That guy was on a show with David Duchovny called Californication in the late 2000's.

Regarding his voice..

https://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/tv-movies/jason-beghe-tough-break-led-memorable-voice-article-1.1765027

Jason Beghe explained that he damaged his vocals considerably after removing tubes from his throat during a 1999 hospitalization following a devastating car accident. The New York Daily News elaborates that the "Chicago P.D." star was actually placed in a coma for around three-and-a-half weeks, leading him to involuntarily yank out the tubes every now and again. Doing this ultimately led to the now-iconic gravelly voice fans love so much. Beghe is lucky to have survived the accident. While he told The Daily Beast, that there was "some gravel" in his voice before the car wreck, the accident hurt his voice. "I broke my neck, my back in a couple of places, all of my ribs, both of my lungs," he said.

He was HILARIOUS on Califonication.

I love watching shows and seeing guest stars I recognize from other shows and X Files has a crazy amount of people who did guest spots on that show before they were famous.

Were Playstation 5s any easier to get a month or so before this?

I had given up on getting one, but Horizon Zero Dawn 2 is dropping in February. That's the one game I definitely want and don't want to be spoiled on.

But if PS5s are still as hard to get as I remember by Feb, I might just have to watch on youtube.

I've reserved myself to just getting HZD2 on PS4 when it comes out.  I'm hoping by next year maybe around the summer things start to become a bit more feasible in getting one since in theory the long the console has been out the more the demand of the people should be getting satisfied.  My only concern is that Sony is going to fully stop their cross generation support after God of War: Ragnarok IIRC which pretty much means I'm gonna have to start getting into the rat race next year.  I may have to begrudgingly buy one of those bullshit bundles GS peddles if I can't get it non bundled.

Oof. They stole that money then. It sucks. Unless she was up to something (maybe the dogs were sniffing for drug residue, which can be found on money dirty or clean). But I doubt it if they let her go.

I can't think of any good reason someone would be carrying $100k through an airport in their luggage.  But yeah, they definitely stole it. And if it is drug related, if she was running it for some other people, they probably put her at risk by taking it and not taking her into custody.

But still I'm wondering why the fuck you're bringing 100K in cash through an airport.

Not aimed at you specifically just a comment about the mind set.

What she doing with 100k at the airport? None of your fucking business. If she ain't breaking the law then it's no one fucking never mind especially those cops who fucking robbed her.

If they ain't breaking the law then what they are doing and why is no ones fucking business.

Maybe she hit it big gambling. Only thing I can think of besides illegal stuff. But like RSG says, if they had no reason to hold her, then they could have let her go with the money. They're thieving though, so that's a hard no.

There are still plenty of people who hoard cash (or even gold) because they don't trust banks.  Those people occasionally move, or go to buy real estate, or a dozen other things that involve physically transporting large amounts of cash.

Eccentric, and perhaps foolish, but they're entirely within their rights.  Shit, TSA might as well be noticing gold fillings and pulling people's teeth before sending them on their way.

Casinos usually have plans if you win that much so you don't have to be taking that kind of money in your suitcase. I have a buddy who's a professional gambler and he's never come away with that kind of money from a casino trip that I know of and he's good at it.

Chances are it was drug money and she gave them info so they let her go. We don't really know the whole story here though. As much as I'm with you on them stealing it, it's sus to be carrying that kind of cash through an airport. So chances are, that money is now evidence.

So the guy who made this is the lead designer for the Sonic 2 Movie

Yyyyup...Tyson Hesse.  The same person who helped save the first Sonic movie from itself after it got a lil feed back for the first Sonic design they were going with.  He actually starting doing freelance work during the Archie comic series and actually had a whole kind of spin off series that he was doing that was amazing before the Archie run got canceled.  He's also been responsible for Sonic Mania's 2D animations as well as the various promotional animations that have been put up by Sega since he started being more involved.  He's one of the best things that's happened to the IP in recent years and it all started with him making those ridiculous parody comics.

Kid’s Father Says ‘Let’s Go Brandon!’ Live on Air During President Biden’s Christmas Calls

President Joe Biden took it in stride when a parent blurted out “Let’s go Brandon!” during a live broadcast of calls to kids tracking Santa Claus.

The president and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden called in to Norad in an event that was streamed live, and during which the president and first lady were then connected with parents and kids for brief chats.

But one parent of four children from Oregon — one of whom was purportedly named Hunter — had a less-than-merry greeting for the president.

Is it really necessary to be a jerk, even if you dislike Biden, when they are calling to wish your kid a merry Christmas? 🙄

That's fucked up. I always wondered what they did with money they seized so that makes a lot of sense.

The small town I grew up in had a scandal several years ago of cops starting a cocaine ring with drugs they'd seized from people. They probably need third parties to keep that stuff because obviously the cops can't be trusted with it.
