haha, on the Liberty Mutual commercial, the guy purposely lets a spider bite him to try and get powers like Spiderman....it's funny that even with something like that... of course they have to keep themselves in the clear legally by putting the usual disclaimer at the bottom in small print: "Do not attempt" ...even though it immediately shows the result is that he just ended up being carted off to the hospital for a severe reaction to the spider-bite. 😆

UPS don't seem to give AF during the holidays. I mailed a package off at their store on the 16th, the package was returned to me the Sunday before last,didnt get any explanation or notification on why. But I go to check the tracking, the package says still in route even tho I currently have it in my possession....and good luck getting anybody on the phone to help 😂 🤦🏾‍♂️

reminds me back in early 2020 or 2019 when I ordered TMNT vs. Batman on blu-ray from Walmart. I had ordered it about 6 months in advanced but ended up getting on iTunes about 3 months before release for half the price. So I cancelled my order Walmart order the same day as I preordered the digital. 
 

Walmart still sent me the physical copy. I had been really busy for almost a month so I wasn’t able to mail back the physical copy. I ended up getting an email from Walmart telling me they were going to pursue legal action on me if I didn’t return the whole $13 blu-Ray within 30 days. 
 

I laughed so hard at the audacity and the fact they’re the ones that fucked up by sending me the copy anyways,  trying to say it’s my fault this happened and wanting to pursue legal action.

I would of ignored them. If I canceled the order, and they sent me the disc anyways that's on them.

Sometimes companies/individuals will pull legal bullshit that would absolutely 100% lose in any reasonable court but only do so knowing that you can't afford to get in a big legal battle.  I really wish courts would punish that kind of behavior more harshly.

NPH (The Analyst) was saying that they were only powerful when together (which was kinda stupid since Neo was doing The One OP shit all by himself in the orignal trilogy while Trinity was out getting herself killed) but it turns out now they share the same ability pool? Maybe I missed something when they were "rebuilt/revived" by the machines but I doubt it. Sounds like some gender equality BS they pulled out of their ass

 

Poor Merovingian was reduced to some homeless troll ranting about the good ol' Matrix days like some social media boomer while a fight was going on.

...y'know, it would be an interesting case study to see just how far that layer of "female privilege" in America goes, in terms of the giant practical joke we call a legal system... like imagine of 1 day, a woman makes a clear attempt on the life of a sitting President....naturally since it's a highly visible political figure like a President, such a thing is caught live on camera.....as such, there is no possible way you can defend her on that without sounding completely ridiculous.  It would be interesting to see the ultimate result of that.  I'd bet money that she would get off with the lightest sentencing possible....like *maybe* probation, and a small fine... like she has to pay $300....for an attempted assassination. 😆  I'd bet big money on that shit ...and try not to laugh at the fool that's betting against it.  

 

Too bad this isn't typically their thing in terms of criminal activity though...that's still very much a guy thing.......so it is unlikely we'll get to see how that plays out.

I took me three sessions to get through and I only finished it because I needed to see the entire thing to judge it. It's bad. What they were going for was executed very poorly. Given what they do in the first part of the film. They caliber of the movie is head scratching, they knew what the pitfalls were.

I still can't get over the ass tier action scenes. You can't make a Matrix film and botch the action. You clearly knew better. The director was one of the two originals. How could the action be that bad. I was honestly more impressed by the Matrix UE5 demo than Matrix Resurrections special effects. Props to Jessica Henwick though, she was a bright spot despite being in a bad film.

It should always be facts over privileges that could slow false information, as much as I try to be neutral as I can on the issue. Typically why it's a turn off of the idea of me being a fan of either sex. Most are the worst opportunists if thrown a bone, but as soon as their past catches up to them at the possibility of a reputation decline, they desperately appeal to fake empathy in an attempt to hold their position. This is coming from someone who was mistreated in a sexual way by both sexes from my childhood.

 

I really feel sorry for him. I know what psychological damage feels like.

and once again the main application we use isn't working properly to do a certain thing that is critical.... I would genuinely be thrilled if the company that produced this half-ass piece of GARBAGE would crash and burn, never to be re-opened ever again.  Bethesda could probably have done a better fucking job at developing a software application.

 

Either the company is trolling or they really are *that* amazingly incompetent.  Sometimes I think it really is intentional sabotage for some odd reason.  It would be great if that was exposed at some point and they got destroyed in lawsuits as a result.

I'm usually amazed at the software packages the CEOs end up choosing for daily operations.  My former company somehow picked the most ASS CPOE in the entire world to save money then spent about 3-4 times that in IT overtime (I work part time on the IT side) for MONTHS to make the garbage system work passably.  But you know, they had a ready to go one they didn't want to pay 30% more up front, which totally saved money since they paid about 4-5X times that in labor costs trying to implement that piece of garbage.  These are the types of genius decisions you need an Ivy League degree to facilitate, that's for sure.

I've found that if you cheap out up front, it ends up costing more either in terms of time or money getting things fixed, or what you end up paying to upgrade earlier than you would have. I've learned this lesson the hard way.

An article I read stated she didn't want it bc it would erase her Colleen role and she didn't want to be recast as Colleen if they use her in future MCU projects.

yunno for an era when we ALL do tremendous amounts of online shopping and no one really sends cards for communication anymore. i dont understand why the mail service hasnt evolved to meet the public needs tbh.

amazon was smart cuz they removed dhl, ups, usps, and fedex as much as they could from shipping their shit cuz they got fed up too. they just created their own private shipping service and its the best by far. plus they also came up with amazon lockers which is also genius. 

another thing is everyone's mailbox is far too small to fit packages. but mailboxes were created in the past when mail was 95% postcards. now its 95% packages yet mailboxes are too small. yea i know about p.o. boxes but for some reason alotta sellers refuse to ship to p.o.boxes. shrug.

fedex, ups, and dhl are also too expensive for the shit service they provide. 50 bucks for 20 days later delivery. nah. usps at least with give you superfast shipping for that price. i use to pay 50 bucks for ems shipping from usps and games from tokyo were delivered less than 48 hours later.

 

if i were the president i would refund the usps again. both fed and state funded. or if i couldnt make that happen, i would let the usps break away from the govt completely and let it be a private business.

usps isnt funded by state or fed govt btw. not since the early 80s. they make all their money from customers.

haha it just hit me....I've seen 3 movies this year that I remember.... *maybe* more but it's just those 3 that come to mind --- the "Snyder cut" Justice League, Blood Red Sky and Night Teeth....ha, so they "win" by default.  I usually prefer a show/series format for a story.

As subpar as Reloaded/Revolutions was, the action scenes are always the things you remember the most (Burly Brawl, the highway chase, Neo vs. Smith final battle, etc.). But in this movie, hard as you try....there is no such moment. Everything is just so forgettable.

 

And I hated that they coined the term "bullet time" within the movie.

The Verge reports that a Finnish Tesla owner named Tuomas Katainen recently received a quote on having the battery in his 2013 Tesla Model S vehicle replaced. He was shocked by the bill of $22,600, perhaps not knowing Tesla’s notorious reputation for massive repair costs. Katainen discussed his experience with the car stating: “Well when I bought that Tesla, the first 1,500km [932 miles] were nice. Then, error codes hit.”

Oh yeah, now when it comes to the top shows... Arcane is the clear champion of 2021 for me.  Everything about it is incredible, especially the visuals.  Aside from that, there was Midnight Mass, and Superman & Lois on CW...oh yeah and Invincible!  I checked it out at a friend's house over the holiday just recently... shit was awesome; though I'm not quite finished with it yet...and I think it was this year that I finally watched "The Boys" from Amazon.  All the other things I watch regularly are those ancient shows on the AntennaTV and Decades networks.... but yeah, the absolute top ranks are Arcane and Midnight Mass for me.
