all this talk about SF4 reminded me of this one dude on srk that mentioned that when vanilla SF4 dropped in arcades. everyone was watching a match on the cabinet of a ken vs blanka match.

blanka player did a blanka ball, the ken player shoryuken'ed it, and blanka recovered BEFORE ken's dp fall animations ended, and the blanka player ultra'd.

 

and everybody laughed.

the only thing i really liked about SF4 was the character roster. all the favs of each SF version. 

and i would 100% go back to playing it if they would just put rollback in. cuz that input delay was painful af. 

 

if i were capcom i would throw bags of money at akira nishitani and have him head dev for SF6. to make 100% sure its actually a good fighter..but thats just me.

They did blanka and Ken dirty in the final build of vanilla IV. I played IV at the Evo Location Test and Blanka, Ken, Sagat and Claw were the talks of the tournament of how good they were. 
 

same with Deadpool in MvC3. You could just play keep away with anti air Dante and short hop LP machine gun.

That whole situation was wild.

 

They where also both surprisingly fat and ugly, or maybe it was just wiz  that was fat. It did ruin my day to know that I was an e-citizen of a site made by a fat ugly guy.

Power Rangers youtube channel--- they always have a marathon going, but at the moment it's one of my favorite seasons---NINJA STORM is live right now, folks:

damn this later in the season though... the Crimson Red and Blue guys are there and Cam is already the Green Ranger.

 

well, another week of the nonsense that is work begins shortly... at the start of each week I'm already looking forward to the end of Friday every time.  This was a 4-day weekend for me, and it still seems like it all went by in about 20 minutes.

The Paris Hilton expies didn't do for it in that show, but I did like the scene where Vexacus killed Zurgane with his own broken sword.  

 

Disney era for me is all about Dino Thunder, SPD and Jungle Fury.  I'll need to sit down and re-watch RPM, I Know everyone hypes over GRIMDARK EDGELORD SHIT but at times the cast felt floundering compared to the Black Ranger who was the main hero.

Not exactly. She ended up getting married last year to a famous parkour guy who a bunch of my friends are friends with. So they were at the wedding.. Theirs videos where she got a giant ass trampoline for them to flip on and stuff. Its wild to not just marry a porn star but arguably the goat of this generation lmfao

One thing with Halo that frustrated me a bit... it would've been cool to play as a "Flood" creature.  It seemed like multiplayer could've been a way to do that.... though some would likely complain that they blend in too easily with certain backgrounds...whatever, I always like situations in games where I can play as a monster.  Later on, Warframe kinda fulfilled that... there's a playable creature that is very similar; it's a humanoid viral organism (or body/host for a lot of them, acting as a super-organism)...I haven't played that in forever though.  

 

There should be more games where the player gets to be the monstrous creature that the heroes are trying their best to put down.  (heh, foolish mortals...always trying to save the day.)

I forget what came first, Halo Combat Evolved or the Expanse arc in Star Trek Enterprise?  Voyager in particular always felt like a pioneer for what we see now in franchises like Halo and Mass Effect.
