Yea I like Yong most of the time to, hence the need to comment. Felt the same way she  the DMCV Orb Micros where the current hot button topic. Had to ask him where the fuck this energy was when DMC4SE came out. You didn't give a shit then so why now? 

 

It's just Yong chasing easy views in this case. Meleeturds will co-sign anything not pointing out what immature entitled 5 year old fuck heads they are being so it's easy revenue.

Probably.

But also he has this whole mentality against what can be percieved as greedy monetization schemes that can cloud his pov.

 

Like he also did the same with DOA6 and CTR NF.

Where he and others went against the games because the perceived greediness without taking the context into consideration.

 

Like CTRNF gives you great amounts of the ingame currency making the mtx basically non existant, since you get enought to buy everything by playing at least 1 or 2 hours every day.

 

But everyone jumped on denouncing the game being ruined because activision was at it again, which granted, activision is known for being fully deserving of hate when it comes to being greedy.

 

And with DOA6 being adding a deserving of hate monetization around the customization of the hair, but also lumping them selling cosmetics as being greedy, which in that case is idiotic to say the least.

And tbh, all of us sooner of later fall into this kind of thinking where we cant really see objectively something, at least not at the begining, hence we can have dumb hot takes at times.

 

The problem is that stuff like social media creates a cycle where people are on a perpetual hot take mentality, with just promoting outrage.

Last i heard about the game is that it has been having a troubled production and that the sort of backlash/mockery that got when announced didnt help, so that pushed them to move the game from being a launch title.

I want to make sure I get this guys argument correct. It's unethical for Nintendo to decide what happens with their property and it's ethical for people to illegally mod it "because they don't sell it anymore." 👀

Destiny 2 PS5 update dropped today. Game actually runs at 4k 60fps. Doesn't feel like I'm playing "underwater". Edit: Multiplayer is 120fps but I have a 60hz TV so.....I can't take advantage of it.

 

PS5 actually runs Destiny 2 better than my PC. I'm not getting 60fps at 4k. Granted I get more than that at 1440p...but I'm not getting 120fps

Yes correct. That is indeed the argument. 

 

If Nintendo wants to hold the crown forever as King Petty (and just this once I encourage it)  they should release Melee in the eShop as a GameCube classic, and don't do anything. Yea sure it makes it easier to get and play but not upressed, no online, full price, digital only. 

 

I would laaaaaaauuuuuugh.

it would be nice to see Netherrealms get the rights for as many iconic characters as possible and just make a fighting or even a regular action game based on that.  I'm talking T800 vs. Drago... Pinhead vs. Jason Voorhees... the "Tall Man" from Phantasm vs. Riggs & Murtaugh or Tango & Cash... David from The Lost Boys vs. Edward Scissorhands...Mickey & Mallory from Natural Born Killers working with Candyman... then perhaps an action-adventure mode with regular stages and boss battles.  It would be a glorious pile of nonsense, and I'd love every minute of it.

as usual with something like this... it's quite the dilemma... I want to check out the stream but of course that's naturally spoiling the game for me....I can't resist though....

 

sheeeittt, the more I see of this... the more I wonder what a VTM Bloodlines sequel could've bene like if CDPR was the one developing it instead....

Ok, so I finally have an idea of what cyberpunk actually is, and I'm gonna pass for awhile.

 

That means that I think I'm not going to play any more 2020 games before the end of the year, so I can definitively make my GOTY list

hahah hilarious when Mr. Asshole character pops in specifically to rain on everyone's parade with "I think the game gonna be trash.", and "...and I'm gonna move the goal posts." 

 

edit---ok I finally had to stop watching that Cyberpunk stream... everything looks awesome so far but he was finally getting into some major story points... I want to keep checking it out but then I would be spoiling everything for myself, obviously...that dilemma is harsh, man...

Nintendo don't have the ethical right, they got the legal obligation to protect their IP.

Just beat Aggelos. Fun little game. My run time at the end of the game says I played for 9 hours on the dot but it feels like I played much longer than that. Which isn’t a bad thing. 
 

it also said I only got a 97% completion. Which makes me wonder what the 3% entails. I’m guessing (hoping) it’s something inconsequential like not being at Max level (I was lv.19 out of 20). But I also don’t really care enough to find out. 
 

if you liked the wonder boy series and good Zelda 2 clones this is definitely up there as one of the better ones. Iirc it’s about $13 on switch. It’s on all other platforms too. I got it for sale for $8 I think and definitely got my monies worth. 
 

I need to play more games like these where they don’t overstay they’re welcome, you can play in short bursts and they’re good at keeping the player engaged with what’s going on. 
 

oh, also there were Easter eggs to other games everywhere. 
 

you fight the snakes from snake rattle and roll, there’s a pink cloud enemy that is just Kirby. One of the bosses is just straight up Lavos. It was cool spotting all them

I'm having an insanely good time playing Battlefront 2 on PC. It's $10 on Steam right now for the complete edition, so I figured why not. 

 

It goes without saying probably but this game looks like night and day versus the console version. It's unbelievably good looking. I mean sometimes I'll just stop dead in the middle of a battlefield just to watch everything that's going on around you. The sound design, environmental designs, and just overall detail is truly absurd. 

 

It seems like years later this game has finally shaped up into something really great. This is pretty much everything I wanted in another Battlefront iteration. The sense of scale, the fangirl level of detail and the constant sense of chaos surrounding you really gets me engaged in a way I never seemed to be with the Battlefield games. I like Battlefield as much as the next guy, but to me it always feels like you're playing as a drop of water in an ocean of other players. Almost like the match would play out  a certain way regardless of whether or not you were involved. 

 

Battlefront is cool because it's much more arcadey than something like Battlefield. Enemies usually stand out in stark contrast to the map itself, engagements usually have more back and forth since you have relatively large pools of health and varying types of lasers..... Oh, and you have lasers that actually feel pretty damn good to fire. I don't think I've gotten a more accurate and satisfying answer to what it must feel like shooting guns in the Star Wars universe. 

 

You can also play as fuckin Darth Maul or Kylo Ren if you shit on dudes hard enough, so I mean, nuff said there. The hero system is actually balanced now too. 

 

I dunno man, they really turned this thing around. Game was hot garbage at release, as it was riddled with bugs, micro-transactions, pay to win bullshit and very little content. 2 or so years later and all those issues seem to be gone and a pretty sweet amount of content from all generations of Star Wars is in the game for free.

 

They could've easily launched the game with half of the features it has now, and it would've been a solid $60 title instead of an overpriced tragedy.  In its current state, it's easily worth 30 or 40 bucks, and it's only $10. 👍

You know how it is, it doesnt matter the nuisance or the context.

 

Probably some "trans" character is portrayed on a negative way and is anti trans because of that, like how Catherine or Persona 5 were anti gay/ anti trans because imbeciles jumped the gun and complained about some story dialogue regarless of the context.

I purchased that game at launch and still have it in my digital library for PlayStation. I'm wondering if there's any performance boost in PS5. I remember having a great time with it. I was naturally really good at the Starfighter mode and would always be in the top 3.

 

I wished they would have made a game that's JUST Starfighters. And then Squadrons came out, which is also awesome. But I actually liked BF2's take on it better because you could go 3rd person if you want and it felt more like Rogue Squadron 2 on the GCN, which is the GOAT Starfighter game, according to me.

1) The twitter made a ‘Did you assume my gender joke’ about something and I think they got fired over it. Not too sure since I missed all of that.

 

2) In-game, there’s a prominent ad that has a woman with a gigantic robotic dong on it advertising a drink with the words ‘Mix it up’. Some deemed it as exploitative of the Trans community, despite there also being ads of men and women of a similar nature in-game as well.

 

3)  Despite having them, it doesn’t make a big deal about sexuality or transitioning.

 

So it doesn’t do enough and too much  so CDPR must be dragged down. Notably, it’s not the Trans people not complaining about the representation in the game but I’m sure that goes for any issue like this.

These 2 points befuddle me the most on this issue because I'm under the impression that the ultimate goal is to make LBGTQ stuff as natural and normal as possible so I mean...these 2 points are it.  The game doesn't seems to care what gender you call yourself and it's trying to reflect that in point 2 and 3 so I da know...

And many people will tell you that. The last thing they want is to be treated any different for who they are. However there is a very vocal group of people who want the opposite and lets leave it at that.

Yo, the amount of usually intelligent YouTubers simping for the Melee crowd is getting stupid. Peeps are not able to think outside of their personal feels. And what is with the #SaveSmash hastag? Save Smash from what, exactly? The smelly Melee crowd that have no use for personal hygiene? The people that think they and only they are the reason Smash is  around? Waaaaaay more casual people play Smash than the competitive crowd I'm beyond sick of the entitled attitude coming from them. The YouTubers simping for these hashtags are not doing themselves any favors.

Honestly the current climate is one of the reasons, besides them being cheap, that Nintendo doesn't fuck with the esports communities as deep as the players would want for this long.

 

Folks really feeling entitled for games like they ain't trying to make money and can't understand why a company doesn't want folks to use methods that would weaken their ability to do so.

So, I've only spotted one glitch in Cyberpunk so far, but it was kinda funny... when my character woke up on day 2, I still had clothes on, but looking at the mirror, my character was naked... it's one of those first-person games where you can actually see your legs and feet if you look down, so I double-checked and saw that yep.. I still have clothes on....yet the mirror kept showing the character naked. 😄

 

edit--reminder to those getting the MS Reward points... you get 6000 for buying Cyberpunk between now and December 24.

I won't be able to play this ( cyberpunk ) until the weekend.

 

How is the game ? I've been seeing a lot of bug compilation videos. Are those made from the version of the game with or without the day 1 patch ? 

 

Also,regardless of the bugs how is the game in general ? Lives up to the hype ?
