I dont care about sports, but I cant believe Pippen only has a net worth of $20 million compared to

MJ 1.6 billion

Shaq 400

Why does Shaq do so many stupid commercials?

Icy hot, Ink cartridges, etc.

I guess its easy money, but its not like hes about to enter bankruptcy.

Rodman only has 500k. He needs the goofy commercials more than Shaq.

Eating a well done steak should be punishable by law 😤

Eating it IS the punishment.  Far too many innocent people have been fooled into eating charred leather.  When one is dragged down into the depths of madness this way, is it any wonder that the zombie apocalypse is such a popular story?  On second thought, I take that back.  When given no other choice, Even the mindless undead would rather devour human flesh over eating burnt cow ass.  A shambling abomination has more sense than to taint their tongues with that, so please my brothers and sisters, don't let the zombies outsmart you:  Eat medium or medium rare if you can.

I have so many questions that I don't think can be answered

The short of it is that Starfire has a new YA novel coming out that’s about her daughter who feels she constantly needs to live up to Starfire reputation. her daughter is a plus sized goth kid.

It's pretty simple. The author lacks creativity, did a self insert character, and doesn't seem to have grasp on who Starfire is. BTW People are saying she isn't a self insert character......

The sad thing is that she can actually write, since she has done some previous stories that are good, and her current Detective Comics run is good according to people i know (have not read it yet to see if is true or not)

So dunno if this self insert is born only from her own desire, or something that comes from circumstances that lead to it

Which imo doesnt make a sense, considering who are her parents.

Goth maybe, but never that ghoul, unless is some Metal Gear recesive genes shit happening here, where she got all the bad genes from Nightwing and Starfire.

I mean, I don’t particularly care. It’s a non-canon story and a young adult novel. 🤷🏼‍♂️

the only thing I know is she pens a lot of the most popular comics in DC right now

In my case, is more a thing that i find worth mocking, since is the 2nd attempt of DC trying to use their chars as a way to enter the YA market, which will likely fail as well.

This is one of the reasons why manga is winning those days against comics.

Western Comics are actually doing the best numbers they’ve ever done post comic crash of the 90’s. Both Marvel and DC have some of the best writers in the history of the business right now. Hell, even indy titles. A lot of Indy titles out sell Marvel and DC on a month to month basis as well.

the issue with Marvel and DC rely way too much on old hat tropes and legacy characters. They’re too afraid to step out of the box and create new genuinely new characters and to retire legacy characters.

It’s why the old saying among comics readers is “no matter how much everything changes the conclusion is always everything goes back to the way it was”. Which is ironic, cause all comic readers bitch about is wanting exciting and new until they’re actually given it then they just bitch about it.

That isn’t me trying to discredit manga as a medium, btw. I get why manga sells in such high numbers. I just wish they were actually good manga’s. It’s all shonen trash like demon slayer or my hero

My nigga, there is plenty of mangas that are not shonen, so dunno what are you smoking 🤣

That’s not what I said, or how I meant it to come across. I’m saying the top selling mangas each month are shonen trash like fire force, demon slayer and my hero

Ah ok, the way you phrased it made it seem like you were saying something different.

But still, i disagree with you in that Kimetsu no Yaiba, MHA and to an extent, Fir Force, are trash.

I get it if you don't like them, but they are certainly not bad, and while they are shonen, i think that they have been doing good things that go beyond the common tropes of the shonen umbrella.

There is also one thing that you need to keep in mind, sales for those maybe are higher because they are weekly mangas, when you compare them to stuff like Space Brothers which is bi weekly and on a seinen magazine that is less international than Jump, is more easy to have more sales for them.

I think my homegirl/ex jump off (don't ask) is on a never-ending mission to see if she can be the most tacky dressed individual at any given event.

Mfer wants to wear some fat, hot ass wheat timberland boots with a black leather tutu in the middle of fuckin Summer in the Deep South where the average temperature is close to 100 degrees or better

I'm so glad we're just friends now🤦🏾‍♂️ 😂

A Movie About A Woman Being Impregnated By A Car Just Won The Palme D'Or At Cannes

Titane is a French sci-fi body horror film by filmmaker Julia Ducournau.

The film follows a young woman who survives a car crash as a child, which completely alters her relationship to cars into adulthood. When she walks out of the hospital after undergoing brain surgery, she ignores her family and walks up to their car, which she hugs and kisses instead. The protagonist, Alexia, is a dancer in a sleazy underground car scene.

And yes, she is pregnant with a car. She’s even lactating black oil. That’s also happening.

And to add

There’s a scene where the protagonist adopts a new male gender that sees her pass herself off as a boy who disappeared a decade later.

It this like a thinly veiled insult movie at transgender people?
