At this point, I think that ResetEra just hate Japanese games and their designs. Like what was the point of bringing up her costumes from SF4 if none of them are in this game. You don’t see them bringing up the fact Mileena’s Flesh Pits costume when praising the designs for MK11. I just find it really stupid.

how the F do you make a Steam game go full screen on an extended monitor and not the main laptop monitor?

 

I’ve tried putting the window into the extended display before maximizing it, or setting the extended display at my main display, as well as looked at any option but can’t find a way to do this and it’s driving me mad.

 

edit: figured it out but instead of just scaling the low res image to fit the larger screen (which I understand would look worse), I have to select the appropriate resolution, and BBCF becomes so slow it’s unplayable at this setting.

Set the other monitor as your main, it's probably the easiest solution.

 

Also, before tinkering with resolution, make sure stuff like shadows and particles are low. Iirc, you only got an old laptop, so you might need to lower a lot of stuff.

Now that's weird. Could it be hardware-related?

 

Just to play it safe, try to set the bigger monitor as your main, and the resolution as the same you're trying to run the game in.

Oh, I didn’t try setting the resolution of the monitor to the same as it was in game. I’ll have to try that later. Thanks.

Yeah, I think something may be fucked with my laptop’s HDMI port, or my GPU is just trash or something. I can’t get it to run well on the new monitor, but it runs fine on the laptop itself, and I know it’s not an issue with the monitor because it runs amazingly with my PS5, and I noticed an upgrade in fidelity and input response when I switched to it from my TV.

 

Oh well, it’s fine, I’m still up for playing on my PC. Having the ethernet hardwired in my current “gaming spot” is a huge factor in this so I’m good.

 

played BBCF with Cipher and it was fun. I’m complete ass, but I’ll keep it up. Need a break from it today though, I feel like I learned too much and my brain is overloaded, (yet I barely learned a thing lol). I was amazed that the netcode seemed fine though. I don’t know what the delay was, but it wasn’t noticeable to me, which is kinda nuts.

It explains to much in the tutorial one of the reasons they cut it down in Strive.

 

Now the only things you really need to know is:

A+B+C lets your rapidcancel every move for 50 meter, it's basically just a Roman Cancel or a Focus Attack without attack.

A+B is your main Buttons for defence. If you hold them while blocking you will Barrier block, giving more pushback to your enemys attacks. It also allows you to block in the air.

For 50 meter, you can also do A+B and forward, for Counter Assault, what is like a V-Reversal (Alpha Counter), but in good.

B+C is your throw and you can combo out of throws.

You can jumpcancel certain Normals on block and basically all on hit, check it out.

 

Basic Mai Combos are.

5AAA, 236B

5BCA,236B

5CCA,236B

Throw, empty 236, 2C, jc J.B, J.C, jc J.B, J.C, air 214C

(Corner) 5BCA, 236B, 5CCC, 236A

 

You can exchange all the 236s for 214Ds what is one of your two supers.

When the viruses in RE have been turning mfers into lizard plant and bug  men since the early games, I can't be asked to question them turning into wolves and bloodsucking hoes like it's weird.
