If they portray it accurately then it's worth making wether people want to see it or not. 

 

I didn't really like The Color Purple and didn't really want to see it, but I think it was good I did and important it was made.

i think the difference between those two movies is the color purple came out at a time we didnt have alot of those types of movies. now we're what 30 years away from that? we have so much black torture porn, i wanna see more movies that show how we added value to the country not just how we got screwed by it. their are so many stories they can tell about overcoming the struggle and not purely about evil white people winning.

I was watching the trial of the 4th of July and Parkland shooters and it just dawned to me that maybe these pieces of shit should be an example for any future mass shooters. I think we should reinstate the crucifixion and just crucify the two shooters but then again that could be seen as sacrilegious because of how symbolic the cross has been for Christians for over a thousand years, so maybe the Brazen Bull would be a good one to revive.

Bacterial cells are built very differently than the cells of higher organisms.  What fucks up a bacteria is often going to have no effect on an animal cell (and vice versa, they're really quite different).

 

The cells in embryos are as physically durable as the cells in grownups.  You can fuck them up in other ways, but you aren't going to burst the cells with sound without also killing a whole path of mom's cells on the way in.

Street Fighter x Tekken hit the 32 man cap yesterday for Vortex Gallery.  I donated $200 to the matcherino pot and then people started filing in quickly, I've spent most of my weekend so far since last night going over equipment checks with the streamer and organizer that I found to host when it became clear that the nitwits in charge were willing to fuck over my scenes because they didn't want me getting on their case again for being late.  I am practically counting on that event being a complete clusterfuck with 54 tournaments running over 2 days and over a thousand people attending. 

 

All the same, it's refreshing to have people who are willing to listen to me and what I have to offer after covering streaming, commentating, organizing and bracket running pretty much all by myself since 2014.  There's an annoying amount of people who think I'm full of bluster and sadly they've gained clout just as I have but haven't yet gained the sense that I had to gain when I realized exactly what I needed to make my events be presentable and how to keep things running smooth when something goes awry like equipment dying on the spot or not having the right monitor or cable.  The people I'm talking to have never run a tournament before this, and they have been great students.  It also presses me to be concise with my points and explanations on why x needs to be brought in case y happens.  The commentators for the event will be wearing my merch on stream and they have told me repeatedly that they will let the VG people though that next year I should be allowed to do what must be done, especially now that I have a team of people I can count on demonstrating the same work ethic and accountability that I hold myself to.

 

It's been two months and all of this is still nagging at me.  I suspect it'll continue to do so until the event is done and I either get an apology or confirmation that I'll be allowed to run offline events again at majors unimpeded.  

 

@ReirakuI don't know if you're going to be there, but if you are, godspeed to you and let me know how it goes.

Yeah. Sasquatch is insanely good. His short hop and block strings are on another level compared to the rest of the cast. Bishamon and Phobos are up there too but Sasquatch is just so much easier to use compared to them.
