More like Harvey was a sacrificial lamb while the rest of gimey Hollywood can still keep doing their thing. 

 

On a lighter note, I have eaten 3 times at work within 2 hours. Once for a maintenance celebration (they had extra BBQ and offered since I was guarding a gate with a company vehicle) the next was pizza with the Star Wars Galaxy Edge (or Star Wars land inside Disneyland) inside the managers office giving out papa Johns pizza. And now snacking for a wedding reception at the Disneyland hotel while I prepare to escort a small wedding party to a reserved viewing place for a show. 

 

I feel fat but this is why I like doing special events in the park. The work is random but the occasional perks as pretty awesome. 🤤

and its not a coincidence that when dupont started making synthetic patented plastics they got hemp banned by getting marijuana banned and slipped in hemp as illegal.

We all know Him, Jay-z, beiber, and mostly everyone has been fucking kids they just put R Kelly on the fire because of some shit he must of done during an illumaniti gathering.  Wasn't there reports of him and Jay-z dping beyonce during the time they made their album together?

This was arguably one of my favorite Fatalities bc the effect was unique at the time.

Most finishers either decapitated, separated the torso, or exploded the corpse into "chunks"

Cutting down the middle was simple and stylish.

 

Most Improved: Liu Kang "Dragon" Fatality

 

 

With MK2, most karacters had 2 fatalities and then stage finishers/babalities/friendships.

Liu's cartwheel uppercut was one of the worst in MK1- it wasnt gory, the screen didnt darken-it basically looked like a special move.

Thankfully, the second fatality rectified this. I still think of it as his signature finishing move.

I remember hearing that the reason Liu Kang's fatality in MK1 didn't darken the screen or look gory was because he was the only fighter that didn't rely on the power of the dark side. Even if some of the other characters had noble intentions, he was the only "good guy" in the game as he was trying to defend Earthrealm without caving to the darkness everyone else was taking part in.

 

I agree that his "fatality" in that game isn't great, but it speaks to his character in a series that is big on lore, and I was actually a little bummed when they started having him kill people in MK2 even if that Dragon fatality is absolutely the shit.

Oh yeah this reminds me; it's one of the reasons I didn't like Liu Kang in part 1....he was the least interesting character to me.  His fatality sucked since it just looked like a special move that happens within normal fighting... and in terms of the design, he was just another Bruce Lee clone, which was an annoying, boring trend in fighting games at the time.  The roster lets us be cool ninjas that rip heads off and burn people to death, or a thunder god, and a criminal/mercenary type of dude with a half-metal face and glowing red eye that can shoot a laser... OR you can be... this Bruce Lee character in the plain black pants.  Johnny Cage was a boring design too but at least he had a "nut punch" move which was funny to see.  Liu Kang got so much better in every way in part 2.

It was more because he was a monk that they tried to go with the no kill angle for him for a hot second.

Or when Captain Marvel proclaimed to be the 1st Super Hero female movie, despite we having Wonder Woman just few years prior, then they changed it to the 1st Marvel Super Hero female movie when people called them out on the stupidity.

Der Ring des Nibelungen was arguably 1874 (Wagner spent 26 years writing this epic) and has Brunhildr, an extremely powerful Valkyrie. Not a movie technically but it's what stood in for one back then so I say it counts. 

 

So yea her comment was either worded terribly or she's dumb.

For me her comment shown that she probably never actually had an interest on action movies prior her being involved with The Hunger Games, and very likely doesn't have an interest on the art of cinema beyond the most recent stuff, seeing how she seems to be oblivious about the history movies which could explain why she took the notion that they were making history by having her as 1st action actress at face value.

 

Then add that from some couple of years ago up to now, it is said that she has developed a diva complex which is why not many people are interested on working with her.

 

And there is also the fact that she dropped school around 8th grade, which on her own words, is something that makes her self conscious.

Anyone here ever hilariously looked at someone's shared post indirected about you on social media about you being a problem to them?

 

I find it amusing that I still live inside my family's head rent free after reporting them to the authorities a few months ago as a warning to them. Guess they still have their insufficient reputation to live up to based on their shared faith based videos. I've really got them. 

 

I've had to create another social media account to get away. Lol.
