Speaking of that, it would make more sense if it was a Saturn copy of the game, since they are way more rare.

It would still be ludicrous, but at least they will have an angle.

 

With this, they are making the scam too obvious, they are "selling" common games to ludicrous prices.

If they gave away the PSX version of MvC for free it'd still be too much. I remember playing a VS title for the first time at an arcade inside a casino as a kid and being blown away to getting those titles on PSX.

 

At the time, I thought the ports were awesome....then I got a Dreamcast and realized I was getting ripped off this entire time.

Sure, they're inferior but not gimped. Atleast you can tag out in those Xbox and ps2 ports, with the ps1 versions of MvC and the like, you couldn't tag unless both teams had the same characters, that's in addition to the already bad loading times

I made it to the EX boss but I just had 0 clue of how it attacked, got caught twice by his beam that you dodge by going up and around him as I was too close to the wall so I was trapped, pushed it to it's second phase but I didn't react fast enough and got clipped by bullets. Besides the EX boss there are 2 sections that give me trouble but I think I just need to save a break/double break for them, it's those spinning disc mother fuckers that suicide bomb you from behind in stage 4 and then the last section of stage 5 just before the boss is crazy hectic and I just don't see bullets there sometimes.

Yea the EX boss is really tough the first time if you havent seen her tricks before. Unlike a lot of smhup bosses she uses a ton of the screen realestate and wont hesitate to push you up against the wall and crush you with her blue laser beams, or even her ship body. Just smash the shit out of you. Too bad you got clipped on the second phase, its the easier one but it can also be tough.

 

For the suicide bombers in Stage 4 when they start coming at you from 360 degrees, scoot left or right to kill a section of them with your Options, creates an opening to scoot out from. You can also save your Break for here and use the Invul Frames on Breaking to deal with them. That sections real tricky for sure.

 

As for that last stretch where they make you fight the 3 Stage 4 Boss Cores in a row, you have to figure out a route that lets you chain breaks back to back, and you have to learn the rotations of the big yellow lasers they fire because if you are on the wrong side you'll get pushed into a wall and be fucked.

 

I have a clear of Novice on my YT channel. There's a slight issue in Stage 5, but its a section of stage 5 you aren't having trouble with so might be worth the watch for you anyway.

 

I think my favorite WTF moment in the game your first time through is when the Stage 5 Boss starts to bounce. I remember the first time distinctly....dude just dropped on mye like "Fuck everything you stand for." lmao

 

 

I can make it to the EX Boss in Arranged Mode Original but I just can not seal the deal. Shes so fucking hard in that mode.

Phase 1 of Arcade mode original was as far as I got. Getting through stage 3 in arcade mode cleanly was usually my hangup- if I made it through that I could usually get about halfway though 5. Would have to practice a ton to get back to that point. What a great shmup, definitely my favorite. No bullshit, no double loop with random shit to collect, no little anime girls, just pure ass kicking gameplay.

Sort of, they don't own the chips. They just design custom versions of their chips.
They still go though 3rd party Chip foundries like anyone who isn't Samsung or Intel.
And since the chips are Arm based, they owe Royalties to ARM Holdings which just got bought by Nvidia. 


Apple is still beholden to their suppliers. Sony and Samsung still makes the majority of parts Apple would have to use.
