Ron was apparently in something called "Super Hornio Bros." I haven't seen that shit but I've seen a picture of it...not sure if it was just that 1 picture (him dressed up as Mario) but it was hilarious.

 

Whenever the Disney era Marvel Xmen on the big-screen finally becomes a thing...you know the "progressive casting" is definitely going to be on schedule, and at least 1 or 2 characters will be race-swapped ...I'd bet money on that shit...we're probably looking at this sort of lineup:

Michael B. Jordan as Gambit

Maybe Zendaya as Jubilee?

Idris Elba perhaps for Prof. Xavier...meanwhile, his bro Cain Marko/Juggernaut will still be a white guy, of course. 

 

Or if Cyclops becomes a prominent "team lead" character again maybe they'd put Michael B. Jordan as him instead, since he's a particularly big name at the moment.

 

...and many folks will cheer on this craziness, and call you either racist or a "self-hating coon" if you happen to disagree with or even laugh at incorrect casting shenanigans like that. 😄

As much as I didnt like this either, a few movies have made me not cared. Audra McDonald in the live action Beaty And The Beast being one of the reasons. She was amazing in Annie; when I saw her in B&TB it was just hype because she is talented.

 

Mark Henry is old now, but he would've made an amazing Juggernaut. Zendaya as Jubilee would be cute as all heck too.

 

I dont know that they should be actively looking to shift ethnicities, but there are definitely some good minority actors who would do great jobs in those roles.

oddly enough, Mark Henry as Jugg would be kind of interesting, I'll admit...in terms of physicality, that guy is a monster.  The tough thing for casting there is that most actors of any note tend to be thin; not nearly bulky enough for a character like this.  I'd go with a constant special effect like the Hulk, even though that's obviously more expensive than just having an actor physically there.  Juggy would be a big monster of a character like the Hulk.

Jugs is giant-sized, in the sheer girth of his brawn, at the very least, even if you were to call his height "oddly tall".

Plus certain characters who haven't t been used as much in the comics can be ued in a movie universe like Sunfire, Thunderbird, Synch, Skin, Mondo, Maggot etc

 

 

Sunfire got shit on from almost day one. They couldn't figure out how to properly utilize him, so they just went ahead and made him a collassal prick who ditched the team because "Fuck you, iteki."

 Henry is freakishly strong, yes, but not exactly imposing in size.

 

Now Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson could be a good fit for a Juggs role....
