"Capcom are really bad at explaining this, but VS2 got a massive buff. Essentially, you can cancel any Fuha, store or release, into any form of VS2, store or release. The biggest thing this does is give Juri a conversion off of her H.Fuha, as Cancelling into VS2 connects now and puts the opponent in a juggle state, so you can get wonderful combos like (any special cancellable normal) -> H.Fuha -> VS2 -> EX.Fuha (or L.DP -> CA). That's ANY special cancelable normal... this is huge for VS2 as it gives her a desperately needed far crush counter combo, doubles the power of her far pokes and buffers and lets her convert off of her light buttons for more than just a DP... and since S.HK blows up V-Shift on a read you'll be gettting a lot more far crush counters you'll need to try to convert off of."

 

 

Some people say v-shift trumps pressure-based v-triggers like Juri's VT1, so we'll see.

Jk......yes i knew that, VS 2 got bit better but in most matchups i still prefer VS 1, it just shuts down a lot of stuff.  Against  Gief / Abigail / Birdie i prefer to use VS 2. It really makes me wish i could just have the thing at the ready always. She really didn't need  a 4th store.

Laura is a fun character but i gotta learn shitloads with her lmao. I'll probably derank and rank back like crazy now but imma aim for super plat next of course. I want to learn Laura now, its decided.

I’m labbing Kage VT1 and while it looks cool on paper I really can’t justify using it over VT2. It’s not bad, but it’s also like barely good while being harder to use than VT2. Teleports are terrible outside of combo extension and the VTC cancel options are garbage compared to VT2. The amped VS’s are the only part of the trigger worth writing home about, and you get exactly two uses out of them.
 

If you’re only gonna get two uses out of your good tool you may as well just pick VT2. You get two uses of Mosogi, but as a bonus you also get access to raging demon and hyper potent cancels into VT.

Nioh 2 is amazing, they literally improved everything from Nioh1 and made probably the best Team Ninja Game of the last Decade.

+ the Character Creator is so incredible good, some might say the game is worth it for that alone.

Don't forget to grab the Ninja Gaiden costume so you can feel like a real bad ass!

So I registered for my AP exams 2 days ago...

 

I have 3 AP courses:

English Lit and Comp

AP Government

AP Stats

 

I've learned so much from every class except Government. In fact, the teacher assigns 2 hours of homework every night where she makes us do definitions of bold vocabulary words scattered through the chapters. Oh, by the way, the vocab definitions are written in the margins, so you don't even look them up.

 

This means we spend 2 hours every night just copying stuff. You might wonder about our tests and quizzes. Perhaps you're stupid enough to ask, "Don't they motivate you to actually read instead of just fishing for bold vocab words?" No, sir, that requires establishing some form of quality education.

 

I'm not learning anything, yet my vocab words have earned me an A because that's all she needs. I chose not to buy an AP test, and that's crucial college credit gone because I am simply not being trained to do the exam - plus I'm taking on an extra 2 hours of work every day of the week. This is insane.

Thanks man, and fuck these guys. There's so much institutional bullshit going on since I moved. Inundations daily with the fucking tests, exams, payments and classes. When I finally get off school, I go to play on my laptop... which is on WiFi because the Comcunts tm require me to pay to use the internet I'm already paying for. Fuck this shit. I'm too heated atm. Just going to draw and cool off.

Relatable...I’ve been trying to brush up on Kage but I feel like I really need to find a non-shoto that I like. Nash is basically a shoto (or at least that’s how I play him), and I play Kage, Ken, and Ryu exactly the same way. Obviously I like what I like, but I kinda want to expand my horizons lol. 
 

I wish the was a character like Cammy or Laura but a bit flashier.

I totally get you.

It was one of my main gripes with her.

Both gameplay and character design seem kind of dull.

She seems flashy at 1st, but it is kind of just a worst Ken in the end (at least when she was released) 😕
