I just finished watching the What happened for 007 Legends and it wants again provides more proof that Activision is shit.  They knew that contract was coming to close with EON and decided to shit out that game months before the contract would end and then on top of that delist the ending of the game unless you got the Wii U edition of the game since it's not on the disc.  And then Eurocom had to be a casualty because of this carelessness is extremely frustrating.

Over the holiday weekend, I had plenty of time to get back into Curse of the Dead Gods once again... it's so good; I finally beat the "Storm" boss.  

One curse I had recently that made things interesting... one where all subsequent curses were a mystery... the text on my next curse then was something like "????"... I also had another curse that made it so ALL statues were traps.  Another good one from a different run made it so all treasure boxes would trigger an attack that must be parried so I could get whatever was in there...if you mess up on the parry, then of course you just take damage without getting the stuff that was in the box....yeah, it's possible to repeatedly fail trying to get the contents of 1 treasure chest.  So far, I haven't seen what happens when you get a 5th curse, which is the most you can get at one time, I guess....supposedly the 5th one is something especially bad.  Heh, I am loving this concept.

 

So far I've been focusing on just stacking as much damage as I can.... and the throwing knives are always a top-pick weapon choice, imo.

Gears of War had a new novel come out that apparently takes place after 3 and before 4, sounds like it mostly focuses on Anya and Marcus ...don't know if it will go all that way to her death or not.  Interview talking about it for those interested

 

 

Furukawa says that Switch supply problems will probably continue going in to 2022, sales of Switch in 2021 was good though especially OLED

Im thinking maybe that was a mistake on Epic's part.  Its not free anymore and when I tried to get it it wouldnt let me get it.  Said something about my fuckin' zip code not be confirmed or some shit.

It's weird. I was going to get on a soapbox about these woke clowns going after someone not two seconds after he's dead (see Kobe), but I frequent the Herman Cain Awards Subreddit, which is about ripping on loud-and-proud anti-vax people who died of COVID. I don't know where the line is.

So after like 10 years of being in a box in my various closets I finally took the Phat Ass Launch PS3 into a shop to get repaired. Got it back today and the last activity date I can find on it is from 09...depressing. This fucking thing still has Other OS, the original Scott Pilgrim release and the Rocket Knight PS3 sequel you can't get anywhere anymore. Incredible. 

 

The real goal here tho was to have an HDMI capable PS2 and it launched Kinetica just fine so HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY!!!!!!!
